This is a wonderful facility full of caring staff and very involved management!
1 / 5CMS Care Compare
Reviews of Legacy Rehabilitation and Living are sharply split: several people praise the physical and occupational therapy team for helping them recover from surgery or injury, while other families describe unresponsive nursing care, a rude front-desk experience, and one serious complaint about a resident being hospitalized after care lapses. The facility appears to do rehab well for many, but experiences with day-to-day nursing care and staff attitude seem inconsistent.

This is not a good facility based on our experience. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is unwelcoming. The receptionist was extremely rude not just to visitors, but also to residents. We witnessed her rolling her eyes, throwing her pen, and speaking disrespectfully to a kind elderly resident who was simply asking for assistance. While some of the nursing staff are kind and attentive, others clearly should not be working in this environment. The inconsistency in care and attitude is concerning when you’re trusting people with your loved one. The admissions coordinator was one of the few bright spots professional, helpful, and respectful. Unfortunately, our experience with the social worker was the opposite. She came across as dismissive, unapproachable, and uninterested in residents’ needs or family concerns. It often felt like we were inconveniencing her just by asking for basic information. Overall, the level of compassion and respect shown to residents is lacking. Many are treated more like a burden than as individuals who deserve dignity and care. One kitchen staff member stood out as kind and friendly, but that was the exception rather than the norm. I would strongly encourage others to thoroughly research and visit before considering this facility for a loved one

I connected with Legacy Rehabilitation and Living while exploring care options for a family friend and was very impressed with their professionalism and compassion. Christine was especially helpful, taking the time to clearly explain services with patience and empathy.

Although our loved one’s condition was too critical for placement, we truly appreciated the kindness and support we received.

I would recommend reaching out to their team when considering care options for a loved one.
