Horrible customer service. The staff is never available in the office. If you submit maintenance requests, you have to follow up repeatedly. I have tried to have conversations with management and they are very rude. My mom's AC has gone out 5 times in the last year, and they have taken very little action to have a permanent solution. It has been weeks of complaints with very little follow up. I have tried to escalate with the company, and nothing has taken place. I was so excited to move my mother and 96-year-old grandmother in, but the customer service and lack of respect have me considering relocating them to a better complex.

Not a resident, but hopeful. I spent Saturday here with Shirley Horn. She is an amazing person. Shirley gave me a great tour of the property and all it entails. I was completely blown away by the beautiful interior, the floor plans and all that Larkspur has created to make their residents comfortable and feel like they are living the life. Thank you, Shirley for being so professional, kind, knowledgeable and willing to show me around your beautiful property. I look forward to meeting management and hopefully becoming a new resident. Have a glorious day!

My mother lived here for three years. As the years went by, the quality dwindled. The staff is subpar to put it kindly. No one answers the phone and they have no consideration for the elderly population in which they rent to. The elevators frequently go out of service, leaving those who depend on their wheelchairs to be stuck on the upper floors. This is simply unacceptable. For this to be a facility for those aged 55 and up the amenities are not what they should be. The rent steadily increased while apartment grounds were not maintained. Mold, rodents, and termites run a muck and this is supposed to a community for 55 and up.

Larkspur at Shadow Creek is a great community with an outstanding staff. I have a longtime family friend and a colleague who both live on the property, and they consistently speak very highly of the management team and how responsive, professional, and supportive they are. It’s clear that residents are treated with care and respect. I would confidently recommend Larkspur at Shadow Creek to anyone looking for a well-run, resident-focused community.

I’ve lived here long enough to see the true colors of this apartment management team — they are completely heartless and lack compassion for their residents. When you find yourself in a difficult situation and need understanding or reasonable accommodation, don’t expect any help or empathy. They only care about policies and payments, not people. There’s no effort to work with tenants or to show basic decency during hard times. If you value kindness, fairness, and a sense of community, do not rent here. You’ll regret it the moment you need any support from management.
