My sister was in for kidney failure. Hospice came in to care for her...they were angels. DEB fell out of bed and broke her hip. I was never called. They said that they did but did not. My niece went to see her before she passed and said she was holding Debs hand when a nurse came to check on her. When she lifted the sheet she said Deb had a huge bruise on her hip. The nurse touched it and she whimpered. She was unconscious and still felt it. She was ok days before I think this just finished her off. The also owe money to her for Last check that they got and she died on Oct.8. Her check went in on the 6. Everytime I call it's the same answer. We have someone new and she is learning. I keep calling and will continue till something is done. If don't get answer soon will take this step further.

The home is very clean. Staff were polite, but not necessarily friendly. I appreciated the attentiveness to the residents. I think the check in process for visitors was unnecessary and complicated. There was no reception desk to direct visitors where to go. I went to the nurses desk, and no one was there. A stopped an employee and asked him where a person’s room was, and he was able to help. I am not being negative, it is one of the better nursing homes I have visited. But I am just giving honest feedback. I highly recommend this facility for your loved one.

From the time I walked through the doors until the time I left the staff was so helpful and friendly. The place is spotless and does not smell like a nursing home usually does. My aunt was well taken care of when the nurse came in and she loves it there. So grateful for this place that takes such good care of the elderly like they are their own family!

Today my husband and I visited a dear friend at Landmark of Acadiana. It was very well organized and super clean. My friend spoke highly of the facility and staff. It was so obvious she was happy with her living arrangements. When we got inside everyone was very helpful in helping us find our friend. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing an assisted living facility.
