We are very pleased with the facility and the care Mom and Dad are receiving at The Landings. And most importantly, Mom and Dad feel safe and cared for and tell us how happy they are they made this transition when they did.

My father and mother are original residents of Watermere in Frisco. It is the professional staff, the quality of service and the overall friendships they have made over the years…that justifies the decision they made. With the passing of my father, my mom has moved to another phase within Watermere called the Landing. She has recieved the same quality of care, while enjoying each day with new activities, meeting friends for cards or simply over a well prepared meal A huge thank you goes out to each worker and their dedication to provide comfort and care to our loved ones!

My mother-in-law is a current resident. I was very nervous and worried for her. After the first week she met a few people, started playing cards and now she is busy all day everyday. The staff is amazing with her and the other residents. My husband and I had lunch with her on one of our visits and the staff was very attentive and watchful. I can honestly say she is very happy there.

My mother moved in a few months ago. She was active and very social before a car accident which put her in the hospital. After that her world became smaller. Not as active as she was but that all changed when she moved in. When we visit her now she always has something to do that day. You can see she is the person she was before. She is so busy and happy, it is a miracle. Staff is great and the activities are fun and entertaining.

Picking a care facility for loved ones is a very difficult decision… for everyone involved. We did a tremendous amount of research to find the best care, lifestyle, staff, facilities, food, and many other dimensions then balanced that against cost. We looked at a total of 7 different places. While the Landing at Watermere Frisco is a premier facility, at the end of the day the cost difference was not that great. IMO, it turned out to be the best value when you consider all the included services and level of staff attention to details that significantly reduces external touch points and associated costs.

The big surprise came after move in… my parents loved it and assimilated without missing a beat. The structured activities, food service, caregiver attention, healthcare, transport, laundry, and housekeeping, among other things, was exceptional and really helped with the transition. There is a feeling of home and residents and staff interact as family. The intangibles won the day.

We have been part of Watermere’s “age in place” strategy for almost 4 years now. We have experienced independent living, assisted living, memory care, and extended care. As care needs change over time, the Landing at Watermere steps up and elegantly manages that transition.

I found the staff very open to requests for needed financial and tax documents. The healthcare and caregiver staff are very engaged and provide needed feedback.

I cannot say enough good things about the Landing… we are in a good place now. Hang in there as things will get better. Pray for strength, wisdom, and God’s guiding hand to lead you.
