My mom has been there almost a year and has had an amazing experience! From the nurses-Rose and Karima, to the CNAs and med techs-Becky, Bri, William, Iman, Ashley, to all of the people in the dining room they have treated my mom amazingly and go out of their way to make her happy and comfortable. Nicole Medina and her asst work tirelessly to get her to do things in the activity room even when she is being stubborn they don’t give up!! Nicole even got her to start going on the outings with them when she was refusing to me and she had the best time. Nicole does sooooo much to get the residents doing things out of their rooms. There have been many times I have walked in and seen her sitting at the front desk with Zoe just hanging out and having a good time with her, Ashley from housekeeping and whomever else. The kindness is really never ending and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Markay was our first point of contact for my Aunt and Uncle becoming residents. She is truly amazing, kind, friendly, empathetic, and a fantastic communicator! Brian with the business office has been very helpful when it comes to crunching numbers. James the Administrator gave my family a warm welcome. Staff is all friendly and helpful and the receptionist has a nice warm glow about her. Mad props to the kind Nurse that has been there 13.5 years; she likes banana cream pie :)

I cannot say enough good things about the administration and overall operation of this nursing home. The DON is professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to both residents and staff. You can tell there is strong leadership here—communication is clear, and concerns are addressed promptly and respectfully. The facility is well-organized, clean, and welcoming, and provides excellent care. It’s clear that residents’ dignity, safety, and well-being are the top priorities. This is a place where families can feel confident their loved ones are in capable and caring hands.

Lamar is a pretty cool place. The workers work as a team. They are good with the residents. They make the residents laugh like they are friends. Meaning you can tell they enjoys their job and not just in it for a paycheck. I love the girls in the dining room. They get the residents hyped up laughing and dancing. It warms my heart to see that. They are amazing. They have cool stuff to do in the activities. Wii bowling. How fun is that, right? Ive seen other places and I like this one the best.

Always improving and caring community for our loved one! The amazing staff is very attentive to the residents. When our family member started to decline. We recieved a call from the head nurse Keith about our loved ones failing health over the last serveral days. Keith was respectful, informative and explained that the decline would likely not improve. Keith offered a in person meeting to discuss options for hospice care. We met with a few companies and learned that hospice is just not for the last few weeks or days of life, but can be for months especially when started early. We then made a very hard but necessary decison to pick St. Croix Hospice, the dedicated team has provided exceptional personalized hospice care our loved one deserves alongside and in conjunction with the wonderful staff at Lamar Town Center.
