Never write reviews, but cannot not this time around. Experienced 2 other rehabs. Lkwd Acute Care is heads and tails above the others. Why? It all comes down to the staff. Plenty of them, they invested in relationship with us and my MIL from day 1 thru 2 wk rehab. Staff is present, know what's going on, everyone helps, kind & friendly, professional, available & approachable. Under new ownership apparently, and doing care like you want for your loved one. Can't recommend them highly enough. Heidi G

The rehabilitation facility is aesthetically pleasing, but the employees and care inside are what makes it such a welcoming environment and a facility I would recommend bringing your love one to for Rehabilitation

My 91 year old Mom has been to Lakewood Acute twice in the past year. First time was recovering from broken ribs. They are so good with her even when she was stubborn and didn't want to do the exercises. You could tell they have a real love for working with older people and understanding their ups and downs. The last time she was there was also a good experience.

I was expecting average level of care here and boy was I surprised. This place was wonderful. Entire staff were delightful. They were beyond friendly to me and one another. I never waited more than 2-3 minutes for a response to my call button. The food was pretty good and plenty of it. You can't go wrong by staying here.
