Moving my mom to Lakeside at Mallard Landing Memory Care was one of the hardest decisions our family has ever had to make, but it has turned out to be one of the best. From the very beginning, everyone has been kind, patient, and genuinely caring—not just toward my mom, but toward our entire family. After a few months, I can honestly say that she LOVES her new home. She loves the staff, loves the food, loves her room, and loves the community. It's such a relief to know she's being cared for by people who truly know her and treat her with kindness and respect every day. A special thank you to Amy Nealon for truly caring and for going above and beyond to ensure the transition was seamless, and to Cherilynn Parks and the wonderful Memory Care team for the compassion, dedication, and personalized care they give to each and every resident. The community is clean, welcoming, and full of friendly faces from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. Knowing my mom is safe, well cared for, and genuinely happy gives our family incredible peace of mind. We are so grateful to everyone at Lakeside and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for memory care for a loved one.

My sister and I have owned since September 2025. We have not been able to rent out our Wellington. Apparently Sinceri has a waiting list but they will not share it with private owners. So, they collect $450 per month in fees for nothing. Not helping us or even telling those on their waiting list that there are other units in the building sitting empty. This makes no business sense when they could pass on the information to those on their private waiting list and ultimately benefit from more fees once it is rented. I am VERY disappointed at the lack of help. I do not understand why they would not share the units in the building that are empty with their waiting list clients other than they are only concerned about the units they own. Deeply regretting investing in this community.

Once my grandfather reached retirement age, my family was worried about what we could possibly do since he lived alone several states over. I am glad to say that when we saw Lakeside, we were beyond impressed. The tour guide, Amy, was beyond kind and helpful in giving us directions and showing us around. She did a great job of ensuring that my grandfather understood the location, how everything worked, and ensured that he would be in good care. We were also allowed to try the food, which was excellent and blew us out of the water upon trying it. I and the rest of my family feel comfortable leaving my grandfather here.

Me and my family have been worried about my grandmother’s mental decline, and have been looking for places to send her, as we are unable to take care of her full time. I went on a tour with Amy; she was very kind and informative, and put both my and my family’s worries to rest. The facility was beautiful and very well managed. We were graciously offered lunch, and we happily accepted the food was surprisingly good, and the presentation was far more than we expected. We are seriously considering this place for my grandmother’s care when the time comes.

Would never send a loved one here. My dad was recently there only for about barely 2 months before he declined so much and rapidly in their care. We kept him home for as long as we were able to for about 11 years then sent him to what we thought was a trustworthy place. When we dropped him off he was walking, could feed himself, hold things etc. two months later he is bed bound, not walking, stuck in a hospital, can’t feed himself, and can barely lift his head…we are told he needs hospice now. He’s lost 20+ pounds. I do not believe this is a coincidence. I believe it’s lack of care, miscommunication between the constant changing of nurses…meds potentially not being administered correctly or missed. He had a foot infection that did not get immediate attention AS a diabetic, and was sent to the hospital where two toenails were removed. If I could give them zero stars I would. He had open wound on his arm. Shelby is the coldest human you will encounter…many of the patients families expressed their dislike for her as well and her lack of communication. The nurses are constantly quitting and in a place like that when you have a new nurse every week who doesn't know the patient it makes it very difficult in a memory care setting and very confusing for patients with memory loss. Do not send your loved ones here. If I posted a before and after of what my dad looked like going in and now your jaw would hit the floor.
