My wife recently spent a week in rehab at LHCC after a level 1 trauma injury. It was a rough few days but the staff was incredibly comforting and responsive. The facility was spotless and very accessible. Probably the best part about the facility was how well it was staffed at all levels. Unlike many Rehab Centers/SNF, LHCC had 24/7 RN coverage and an exceptionally well qualified and involved Social Worker on site!!

I have never been treated nicer, taken care of better, laughed harder, felt more comfortable, and been in a cleaner facility tan when I spent time with you folks! Kay, Cari, Mary, my favorite Yooper, and the entire staff were exceptional! Aces! If I ever go through this again I wouldn’t change a thing! THANK YOU ALL!
PS. Sorry I didn’t remember all the names I’m old!

I would give Lakeland Health Care Center 10 stars if I could! Our mom has been a resident for four years, and the care she receives is truly exceptional. I work with care facilities regularly in my job, and this is the only place that consistently answers the phone and responds to messages promptly. Every interaction is professional, courteous, and kind.
When our mom first arrived, she started in the rehab unit, but it quickly became clear she needed memory care. The transition was seamless, and the staff in the memory care wing have been incredible. They don’t just provide care—they show genuine compassion. You can see how much they truly care about the residents. Whether it’s an RN or CNA holding a patient’s hand as if it were their own parent’s, or offering a gentle kiss on the head, these small gestures speak volumes.
From the little things to the big things, Lakeland goes above and beyond. The love and dedication of the staff make this the best place we could ever hope for our mom.
