Lasher Hills has been gòod on caring for my dear friend, for a little over a year now. I believe she has as good care as higher priced institutions. Keep improving your public response and care giving responses.Thank you for all you do.

I had a recent visit with my mother at Lahser Hills and upon arriving I was immediately met by her doctor who places her well-being as a top priority for her overall care. The Staff Scheduler, Rochelle makes sure she arrives safely to and from any medical appointments she has. Tiffany Taylor, the Social Worker, keeps me informed of all matters involving my mother's care and Marita Wooden-Lyons is always helpful when I have questions. I really like how the Chefs and the staff (Zack, Tiffany and Shereen just to name a few) walk around the dining room to greet the residents. They check on how well they are enjoying their meals and help them feel seen. The Resident Dietician and Chefs take great pride in preparing meals that meet each Residents specific dietary needs. The Nurses are always attentive to my mother's needs and Nurse Theresa found my mother's eye glasses when they got lost - thank you! Bonita is always helpful with my mother - thank you! Susan keeps the my mother and the other Residents engaged with fun activities and I love how Cookie plans spectacular parties for all the Residents during all the special holidays throughout the year.

Shout out to Cookie — The Baddest Chick in the Game at Lasher Hills Care Center. As the Activities Director, she brings so much joy, creativity, and genuine care to the residents. You can feel her energy the moment you walk in. She makes every activity meaningful and every resident feel valued. Lasher Hills is BLESSED to have her.

I want to sincerely thank the entire team at Lahser Hills Care Center for the outstanding care and compassion they show to their residents and families every single day. I had an opportunity to visit recently. I especially want to recognize Cookie Adams, the Activities Director, whose energy, creativity, and genuine love for the residents is unmatched. Cookie makes everyone feel seen, included, and uplifted-her presence truly makes the facility feel like home. This place holds a special place in my heart because my mother was a resident here before she went to heaven, and I can say with confidence that she was surrounded by kindness, joy, and dignity. The staff made sure she felt loved, and I will always be grateful for the comfort they provided to her and to our family during that time. Southfield is blessed to have such a gem in this community. Thank you for all you do.

I want to give a huge shout out to Cookie aka THE BEST ACTIVITY DIRECTOR thus far !!! When I say this woman is phenomenal! Always compassionate and understanding! She keeps the residents busy and helps the nursing staff contribute to the quality of life for the residents! She’s a God fearing woman with plenty of energy and love to spread ! She always goes above and beyond for people at work and outside of work! Just want to thank her for everything she’s doing. “The baddest chick in the building “ She makes sure the residents enjoys every holiday! She definitely understands her assignment ! 🩷
