Hello, I have lived here for aprox 6.5 years. Great facility great staff, close to SkyLakes and VA, bus service right out front, beautiful neighborhood, my cat Xanderkat rates view from windows 5 stars, Bob.

As a former executive of a company with sales in excess of $100 Million/year, my opinion of Hellenic Senior Living of Elkhart is one of the worst managed Senior Care Centers one could possibly imagine. Nursing care is sub-standard. Staff is unresponsive to resident requests for assistance and too often takes 20-30 minutes to respond to a resident's request for assistance. My mother is a resident and has been requesting a replacement "call for assistance pendant" for over a month now. She was only given a handheld device (much like a garage door opener). If she can't reach it after a fall or other physical emergency, her life would be in danger. A pendant call device hangs around her neck and can be accessed at any time she needs it. The Elkhart facility has had issues with mice, bedbugs, and other insect infestations. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SELECT THIS FACILITY FOR YOUR LOVED ONE!!!
