Thank you for taking such good car of my family! My Mom & Dad have adorable 1 bedroom unit with their own furniture and pictures on wall overlooking the courtyard, which we haven't used yet but plan on it when the weather gets better. They have room for kitchen table & three chairs, living room furniture with love seat, recliner and end table, kitchenette with small fridge & microwave, and bedroom with queen bed and two end tables. They like to sleep late so the staff delivers breakfast to their room every morning. My sister is just down the hall in a studio and they allowed her to bring her electric fireplace which makes her room so cozy, they placed her close to my parents so they can dine together! My Dad had a problem with his blood pressure and they monitored it every three hours. The food is wonderful and the dining room is beautiful with a cathedral ceiling and fireplace. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Also because my Dad has early stage alzheimer's and my sister may have to have medicaid waiver in the future, they have memory care in same building and they take medicaid waiver for my sister so they can all stay together and won't be transferred to another building or facility which was extremely important to our family! I have to amend my review! The new cook at Walnut Ridge is horrible! Easter Sunday at Walnut Ridge was crispy uncooked noodles with ground meat no seasoning and not enough sauce with no seasoning to cover the crispy uncooked noodles with dry hard pita bread. We have moved my family to Heather Hills in Cascade and so much better food and activities! go there instead! beautiful 1 bedroom apartment with outdoor balcony with many activities that Walnut Ridge doesn't offer and food for Mothers day is Buffet with Prime Rib, Smothered Chicken, salad, fruit, shrimp cocktail , biscuits & gravy, green been casserole, Potatoes and gravy, Caprese pesto pasta Tiramasiu, Assorted Pies, and Chocolate covered Strawberries. This isn't just Mothers day they had parmasen crusted tilapia, au Gratin Potatoes, Peas & carrots and Cheesecake with strawberry topping last night for dinner and my family loves it there! The menu when we started at Walnut Ridge looked awesome with side menu they could order but with new cook this menu was eliminated! They only had two choices when my Dad had stomach flu Lasagna or a Hot dog which neither is good for upset stomach! They said this wasn't a five star restaurant when I complained although they did say they would try to change things, but nothing changed just horrible food! At Heather Hills they have special of the day, and three specials of the week, and a side menu that has many other options if you don't like the specials and everything is good chef there is awesome! Also on activities at Walnut Ridge if you don't like bingo don't plan on anything esle! Heather Hills has many activities every day and a movie theater, outdoor area with grill to do outdoor entertainment! So much nicer more like a home!

My daughter transitioned to Walnut Ridge after leaving the hospital. The staff were incredibly helpful in preparing for her arrival, helping her fit in and come to really enjoy all of the caring people there. Kind, considerate, happy people along with residents that love living there. Many fun activities attracted her from staying in her room all day. The facility is extremely clean, beautifully decorated and maintained. She really enjoyed her time there

Thank you so much for all the fantastic care, wonderful staff, and the residents are so nice. I really enjoyed my stay here. I made many friends and I am shy by nature. Our medicine is always on time. Housekeeping is superb. I really enjoyed all the fun activities mostly bingo, Holland State Park, the car show, and the baseball game. I will recommend it for anyone looking for assisted living. The rooms are spacious. They come with a bed, a new television, an armoire, microwave, mini fridge, and bedside tables.

I am pleased to share my heartfelt experience with Walnut Ridge Assisted Living, where my mother found a wonderful home for her final living experience. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed by a warm and caring atmosphere that truly sets this place apart. The staff at Walnut Ridge are exceptional. They are attentive, compassionate, and genuinely devoted to the residents' well-being. My mother received incredible care throughout her time there, and I will forever be grateful for the love and support they provided. Even during her final days, they showed her the utmost respect and kindness, ensuring she was comfortable and surrounded by love. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and feels like home. The dining options are excellent, with a variety of healthy meals catered to different dietary needs. My mother enjoyed trying new dishes and appreciated the care that went into every meal. Overall, I cannot express enough gratitude for Walnut Ridge Assisted Living. They provided my mother with a loving and supportive environment where she could thrive. It brings me great peace of mind knowing she was in such capable hands until the very end. I highly recommend Walnut Ridge to any family looking for a nurturing place for their loved ones.

My mom is a new resident in walnut Ridge assisted living. The place is absolutely beautiful inside and out and so far the staff has been more than accommodating. My mom has her very own room. Complete with a little kitchenette that has a small sink, microwave and refrigerator. There's also a cupboard where she can store cups plates etc. She was provided a bed, and a night stand. Plus a 42" (I think) t.v. that's on the wall. Her room also has a good sized closet with mirrored doors,! The room is private and like her own little apartment. Honestly, I couldn't think of a better place for her. I could go on and on. The residents have scheduled activities.... Just see for yourself! Check out my pics!
