We had a very poor experience with this assisted nursing facility while my dad was there. If I could give them a negative I would. The staff, RNs and CNAs, were unfriendly, unwelcoming, rude, and often appeared lazy and unorganized. We constantly had to be present to make sure my dad received the care and attention he needed, which should not have been necessary. One of the most frustrating parts was their schedule. They would wake my dad up at 4:00 a.m. to take his vitals and then again at 5:00 a.m. to give him medication. There seemed to be no concern for his rest or comfort. His physical therapy was also disappointing, consisting of only about 15 minutes of walking, which did not feel adequate for his recovery needs. The food was also terrible. To make matters worse, they were supposed to send his medication refill to the pharmacy, but that never happened. After he was released, we had to go ourselves to sort it out and pick it up. Most upsetting of all, my dad came home worse than when he went in. Overall, this facility did not provide the level of care, professionalism, organization, or compassion that families expect for their loved ones. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere before placing a family member here.
