We are a residential care home that specialize in Alzheimer's, Dementia and Hospice care, we provide an intimate home-like atmosphere tailored to the special needs of every family and Resident. At Jewell Home Care you and your family become part of our family, and we are here for you day or night.

In our small community based home we provide an alternate living situation for seniors who can no longer live safely at home, but require more personal health and supervision then is available in a larger independent care facility.

Amenities

Many of our amenities are what enable our residents to truly feel at home including; home-style cooking, laundry service, pet friendly accommodations, flat screen TVs in every room, internet access and a private sun room!

Jewell Home Care is a family business that myself, Monica Ralh and my mother Diane Hayes opened. My mother Diane has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years working at Hospitals, RCFE, ALF and with Private Clients as well. She taught me at a young age what caring for other meant, no matter what circumstances or condition they were in and so did my grandmother. They were both firm believers of spreading love.

The name Jewell came from my grandmother. Just like her name she was a jewel... She cared for everyone who came into her home with love, compassion and home cooked meals. As she got older she became blind, but still never missed a beat as she cared for her husband and still guided her sons. She never let her blindness hinder her or define who she was. My grandmother was a true definition of a jewel and we care for our residents as such.

Services

Jewell Home Care staff are trained, professional, friendly and caring staff members. They are trained monthly in Dementia care, medication management and emergency procedures. They all maintain a current CPR and First Aid certificate. Each employee is carefully screened and undergoes both a criminal and drug background check. We employ two caregivers during the day or as needed and night time supervision and the option of 24 hour bedside care as well.

Our care home has four (4) private rooms and one (1) shared room. Each room is equipped with a flat screen television with cable, a chair, as well as a bed, dresser and nightstand.

We work closely with our 24-hour, on call nurse, as well as your personal doctors to make certain each resident is carefully monitored. We also contact the main relative(s) with any updates or changes in the resident’s health or behavior.

Our primary goal is to secure a peaceful, active, healthy and comfortable environment for you or your loved one to enjoy and experience.
