Don’t Do It!!! My brother was here briefly and declined rapidly. Even though my brother was supposed to be with Hospice, they said Hospice only comes in twice a week. I had to come in the morning and find him passed away already in the bed. Everyone acted so ignorant to the fact I had to ask the nurse to come check him twice and she finally said Yep you’re right?!? I called all day the day before and in the evening only one time did they answer the phone and tell me they would check on him no phone calls back. This place needs to be shut down if they cannot take care of simple things. The nurse even said she did not have my phone number because the ambulance brought him in from Memorial Hospital?? I know for a fact, Hospice had my phone number too.

I had to make the difficult decision, this week, to place my loved one in a 24hour care facility. Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab made it a lot easier. Blake McGill (administrator) is a young and smart young man. He is a person who genuinely cares for the residents, staff and the community. He has done so many upgrades, remodeling and decor changes to JNR to make it a better environment for the residents. DON, office staff, CNA’s, and Social Services all came together to help, guide and make sure that we are all on the same page to give my loved one the best care!! And for this, I am forever grateful! 🙏🏼

I’ve heard people say Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab wasn’t what it used to be, but that’s not true anymore. The new admin — only 22 and military (I hear), too — has brought awesome energy and really turned things around. The staff seem happier, the building looks great, and the whole place has such a better vibe now. It looks like they are remodeling a section of the building and their newer addition for rehab is looking fantastic! I have heard mention of the food being not great in the past, but with the current dietary management, the residents seem to really love it! Love seeing younger leadership making a real difference in our community!

My mother lives there now. I find her laying in urine so many times. There is a handful of workers that care. But the rest are lazy and or don't care. I'm there everyday to help my mom.. If I could take her home and be able to care for her myself, I would in a heartbeat. But have to work. So I go to help her before work amd after.

I recently visited my friend's grandmother at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab, and I was truly impressed with the community. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and I had the pleasure of meeting the new administrator. It was a great experience, and I can already see the positive changes being made. I’m excited to see the improvements and future developments at this wonderful facility!
