Ivy Park at San Jose is a warm and welcoming assisted living community located in the Evergreen area of San Jose, and even though we didn’t stay there, our visit left a genuinely positive impression. The facility feels clean, organized, and thoughtfully designed, with staff who greet visitors kindly and help guide families and guests with ease. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, giving residents a sense of stability and care. During our visit, the community spaces were well‑maintained, and the layout made it easy to navigate between the lobby, activity areas, and gathering rooms. The environment feels safe and supportive, which is especially important for families considering long‑term care options. Even as visitors, we could sense the attention to detail and the pride the staff takes in creating a positive living experience for residents. Our visit was centered around the NCAVAD Mother’s Day musical and dance performance, which brought a lively and joyful energy to the community. The residents seemed genuinely engaged, smiling and clapping along as the youth performers shared traditional music, cultural dances, and heartfelt moments. It was meaningful to see how the performance created connection across generations, giving residents a chance to enjoy something festive and uplifting. The staff helped coordinate the event smoothly, making sure residents were comfortable and had good seating. The performance space was intimate enough to feel personal, yet open enough to accommodate families, volunteers, and performers. Seeing the residents respond so warmly made the visit feel special, and it highlighted how community events can enrich daily life in assisted living settings. Overall, Ivy Park at San Jose left us with a strong sense of care, professionalism, and community spirit. Even without staying overnight, we could see that the facility is run with intention and compassion. The Mother’s Day event showed how much the staff values meaningful engagement and cultural celebration. It’s the kind of place where families can feel confident that their loved ones are supported, entertained, and surrounded by people who genuinely care. Based on our experience, Ivy Park at San Jose deserves a solid rating and recognition for creating a positive environment for both residents and visitors.

I’ve had two siblings at Ivy Park, a brother and sister, for years. My brother over ten! I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the care in the Evergreen neighborhood and all of the staff and administrators. It’s a great facility and I give them my highest heartfelt recommendation!

Very grateful for Ivy Park! My brother and I interviewed several senior living locations throughout the Bay Area. Ivy Park stood out from the initial start. You can see the genuine care and support the staff and people here provide. The fellow residents were also very welcoming and kind to my mom. My mom has some complex medical challenges and we were pleased that Ivy Park was comfortable and capable of helping our mom. It’s amazing that it has been over two years since mom has lived here and because of the support, care, activities and people she is actually doing better now physically and mentally. She is truly happy and living a full life. Environment and the right people are everything. So grateful for the staff and people here that provide the 24/7 care for my mom that she needs. We love visiting her and seeing her enjoy time with friends. Thank you Ivy Park!

My family had toured several assisted living facilities in the San Jose area, trying to find one that would be a perfect fit for our uncle. After visiting your facility, we found it to be the nicest one by far, and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, showing compassion and empathy towards their residents. After our uncle moved in, he was very happy and made new friends quickly and he looks forward to spending time with them each day. Our family couldn't be more pleased with our choice! Thank you for the wonderful care you give our uncle and the other residents at Ivy Park!

My mother started in the assisted living area of Ivy Park. The facility is bright and clean (with lots of communal areas where residents can meet), the apartments are very nice (roomy with accessible bathrooms that are bigger than mine!), and there are a lot of activities and excursions planned for the residents. The staff was helpful and friendly and made sure my introverted mother got down to the lunch room to eat and even socialize a bit. (The food is great, btw.) Most important, my mom was able to have her beloved cat with her. This arrangement worked well until my mother’s dementia got worse, so I was able to move her to the memory care section of the facility. There are only a small number of residents on this side, so the staff can devote more time to each one. As my mom's needs grew, the facility was able to increase their level of care. The staff members were so patient, especially when my mom was being particularly difficult. I'd like to especially thank Christine, Patrick, and Stephanie for their kindness to both my mother and me. And my mom was still able to have her cat with her, which I think really helped as the cat was one of the last things she could remember. My mother has since passed, but I'm still so grateful that I chose a facility that made a difficult situation bearable for both me and my mother. Ivy Park ticked all the boxes for me: - Mom was in a caring, safe environment - She was made as comfortable and stress-free as possible, considering her illness - The staff was patient and kind - The facility was able to meet changing level of care from independent living all the way to hospice. Thanks again to Ivy Park for all the support.
