My mother had a 30 day respit stay at Independence Manor and it was such a wonderful place. The staff is so kind and attentive, the food was amazing, and her therapy team was exceptional. After the 30 days, she was back on her feet with confidence going home. We are so grateful to all of the staff!

I am so grateful we found Independence Manor. It was time to sell my Mother in Law’s home and get her the daily help she needed. Well, we found more than help. We found new friends who have become like family for my Mom. Mom did a complete 360! She was depressed, barely walking, not active and just feeling down. Within days of moving in, we noticed a huge difference. She’s ALWAYS busy, engaged, active and on the go. She’s dressing herself again, walking, engaging and LIVING again. My husband and I are beyond happy with the care Mom receives. The staff all go above and beyond. I have a lot of experience with my own father and family member at other long term care facilities and they were a nightmare. The nurses are always on top of Mom’s meds and daily needs. The house doctor is great and checks in on Mom weekly and updates us. There is no shortage of activities or events. They are over the top and truly go above and beyond. Independence Manor has given Mom her life back. It’s given us peace of mind as well and allowed us to live our lives knowing Mom is well cared for. We visit all the time…usually Mom is busy lol, which is a good thing. She loves the bus outings and trips to the local stores and eateries. It’s been just shy of a year and the level of care has not only remained consistent but exceeded our expectations. The facility is beautiful, recently remodeled and is always kept up. Mom’s room is always clean and vacuumed. We are forever indented to Independence Manor for giving Mom a loving place to thrive while we have peace of mind. There aren’t enough words to truly praise the staff and their care. Thank you!

My mother moved into Independence Manor two years ago and has loved it from the moment she arrived. She was so filled with gratitude for the community that we threw a party to celebrate the anniversary of her move. It is difficult to imagine an assisted living community better run or better staffed. A compassionate and respectful cadre of nurses, aides and staff go above and beyond the call of duty to bring comfort and companionship to residents, and the sense of teamwork amongst staff is impressive. Nurses and management alike welcome conversations with residents and their families. Monthly resident meetings with management and annual evaluative surveys with prompt follow-up give residents and families alike multiple opportunities for input. The facility and setting are clean and lovely, with an ambience of home. Independence Manor at Hunterdon has my highest possible recommendation.

I want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation of the administration and staff at Independence Manor at Hunterdon - assisted living and memory care community. Mom very much enjoys residing at Independence Manor. She actively participates in activities and has several friends. The staff are friendly and courteous. The nurses and certified nursing assistants are attentive and provide quality care. Mom certainly feels safe in this wonderful environment. That is comforting to me and my family. Quite thoughtful and caring, administration and directors make themselves available with their open door policy— providing assistance when necessary and in a timely manner. It is with gratitude that I highly recommend Independence Manor at Hunterdon in Flemington, NJ.

Independence Manor has been a wonderful place for my mother to be the past year and a half. The staff truly cares about her well-being and they are very responsive to her and to me. The facility is clean and beautiful. From the front desk person to the nurses and aids and to the management staff, I couldn't ask for a better spot for my mother to be.
