The most caring staff I have ever dealt with. The RN, Chaplain, aids, AND volunteers that took care of my father, they are all very caring and sincere.

My mother recently passed away and was in the care of Hospice of the Midwest during her last months of life. Having their amazing hospice team with my mother and my family through this difficult moment was a life changing experience for me. They were kind, compassionate and professional at all times. They not only took loving care of my mother, they helped to give me the strength and courage to be with her and support her during her end of life journey. Without their guidance we both would have been lost. Working seamlessly with the care team at Walnut Ridge Long Term Care Center, they brought love and trust into my mother's heart. I am confident she is resting in peace. I will be forever grateful.

We chose Hospice of the Midwest as they catered to veterans. My husband had the pinning ceremony. A retired veteran and pinned Wendell. My husband loved his time in the military met sp much to him. Many friends. neighbors attended and were impressed. The aide and nurse were compassionate and set up a schedule so we could plan our day. My husband enjoyed the new chaplain and she had a beautiful voice and she played many Christmas songs yo both of us. He really enjoyed the massages from the massage therapist. She increased the frequency as we got to the end. I would highly recommend this agency.. We did have one incident but this quickly taken care by the head nurse and the medical director. I would not have been able to take care of him at home without yhe help of Hospice and the Urbandale fire department. Hospice had a birthday celebration prior to his 80th birthday as his condition had gotten worse and it was obvious he would not reach his 80th which was the last thing on his bucket list.

I called and they came immediately. We couldn't have asked for any better service. Everyone was efficient and compassionate, helped when we wanted it and gave us space when we needed it. Megan was a God send. We appreciated her visits and her help in caring for my husband. Tiffany was compassionate and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. I would definately recommend Hospice of the Midwest.

I had to deal with the loss of my father this past year and as difficult as it was, the team that worked alongside us truly became part of our family. They were kind, supportive, and the communication was constant throughout it all. Even today, months later, we still have some team members reaching out to check in on our family. If I could give more than five stars, I would! Highly highly recommend. Thank you, Hospice of the Midwest, for doing all that you did for my family! Forever thankful
