About B & Y Care Home

Hope Living Group Home is a small, licensed assisted living home designed to feel like a genuine residence rather than an institution. The house is limited to a maximum of eight residents, allowing caregivers to offer close, family-style attention to each person in their care.

The home provides personalized care, assistance and support for elderly residents who are no longer able to live independently. Experienced, credentialed caregivers deliver services with kindness and warmth, helping meet the individual needs of each resident.

Regular activities are offered to encourage both physical and mental wellness, and the home's philosophy emphasizes treating residents with compassion, respect and dignity while allowing as much independence as possible. Residents are treated as family members rather than clients.

The property is located in a clean, quiet neighborhood and includes both private and common living areas, giving residents ample space to enjoy their own room as well as shared spaces within the home. The layout is designed to feel comfortable and homelike rather than clinical.

By choosing a home-based care setting, families can avoid the isolation and challenges that can come with a loved one living alone, while gaining peace of mind that their family member is well cared for in a safe, tranquil environment.

My mother moved to B&Y once we couldn't take care of her on our own. She suffered from dementia and incontinence, and the staff competently cared for her needs. We especially loved Florence as she took care of the residents like they were family. We were welcomed to visit any time, and during major holidays Florence would prepare a wonderful meal for residents and all ALL their family members. We are grateful for the time we had with her in B&Y's care.

Over the past four years I have placed three friends or family members with this facility, and we have been very pleased. Florence and Lucy are great care givers, and the other staff are very friendly and competent. We are happy to recommend B&Y Care Home.

My mom Madge Smith lived here for many years until she passed at the age of 93. I highly recommend it. The most loving caring staff I have ever witnessed. I couldn’t have ask for a better place.

My father, Dan, lived at B&Y for over two years before his passing at the age of 95. We chose B&Y because of its warm family atmosphere, consistent staffing, and high staff to resident ratio. Florence and Lucy and the rest of the caregivers were incredibly sweet and loving. They catered to his preferences such as how he liked his morning coffee and muffin and his favorite sandwich. Dan became less ambulatory over the years, but they kept him safe, clean, comfortable and treated him with respect. The home was a blessing to our family during a difficult stage of life.

I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for the care of my Mom. The staff at B&Y Care Home did their very best to keep my Mom happy and comfortable. I appreciate that you listened and reacted to all our feedback. Taking care of seniors is a very, very difficult job and we are lucky that wonderful people like you take on this type of business. It takes a special type of person to do this work. I could never have taken care of my Mom like your staff did!
