From my experences I believe this facility is another waste of staff and money. The amount of money my family paid for them to sit in there mess whilst staring at blank walls all day to only be broughten cold burnt food. The staff is extremely unfriendly and unprofessional to the point my family was not comfortable asking for basic necessities such as receiving a bath or nail clippings. I have seen the friendliness from very few staff and this is ultimately reflected by the people paying thousands a month to be able to reside here. Along with paying this amount of money I would expect old food to be removed from the room, the rooms to be routinely cleaned and organized. The struggle I had with this facility to verify that my family was getting the adequate and correct medications was appalling, the staff showed no concerns for receiving any!! medications. My time with the don was not only rude and disappointing but overall unproductive. I would not recommend this facility to anyone until changes have certainly been made.

My family members live in this facility. They are very well taken care of. The current office staff really help with things I don’t quite understand that goes on with my family members. The nurses seem to really care and take care of the residence not just my family but all the residents. They have pets that get to interact with the residence and make them feel More like they’re at home. If I’m ever put in a nursing home, I hope that my kids puts me here at Hugo health and rehab. Also known as Homestead Of Hugo. They have a variety of activities throughout the year that involves the residence mainly and brings joy and smiles to all the Residents faces. Every place has its quirks, but for the most part, Homestead Of Hugo has a very current staff that actually treat the Family.

It’s clear our new team truly cares about the people we serve. The improvements are noticeable and appreciated!
