Home Instead Toledo has been a life saver, not for the ones in my life who required care, but for me, the caregiver! I was in dire straits. Two immediate family members, both needing a lot of help, 15 miles apart. I was truly overwhelmed. It was a difficult situations with all kinds of road blocks and complications. Home Instead jumped right in, taking care of details and helping develop a plan for one family member allowing me to focus on the other. The person they were taking on has difficult issues and care was definitely complicated. They didn’t hesitate! They jumped right in, took all the guidance that I could give them and believe me, went way above the call of duty. I owe them such a debt of gratitude. I feel blessed to have their assistance. Can’t sing their praises enough! Great company! Highly recommend them! The person they are caring for agrees, they’ve been the best!

My Dad needed some assistance at home after his stroke, specifically meal prep and bathroom help. Mark met us right away to discuss his available staff and how they could help Dad. Home Instead Toledo provided truly life-saving care for my son. After months in the hospital and an extended-care facility, we hired them for 24/7 support when he returned home. Their caregivers were warm, friendly, and attentive to his specific needs, while also respecting his desire to regain independence. As he improved, our family gradually reduced their hours.<br><br>Then an extraordinary moment happened: one caregiver, not on duty, stopped by his house simply to say hello and found him collapsed on the floor for hours. EMTs told us that without her unexpected visit, he likely would have died. We can’t express how grateful we are—Home Instead’s staff didn’t just help us, they saved his life. My son is now living in a safe, controlled environment made possible in large part by their care, and we consider Home Instead a wonderful, highly trustworthy company.

My mother loved her in home nurse. She helped clean, cook, do chores, took her to doctor appointments. They became very close and was like family. It also gave me huge peace of mind knowing that someone was able to look after my mom since I live across the country. Lisa was great at helping organize and understanding our needs and financial abilities. Highly recommend.
