Our experience with Home Instead Leesburg, FL, has been nothing short of inspiring! Their genuine concern for our aging parents, integrity of the organization's leaders, the intelligence of the business model, the accountability and communication, and the quality of care givers is unequalled in the home care industry. We tried many, many other companies and none came close to comparing with the professionalism and excellence of Leesburg's Home Instead. We have heard nothing but good about owner Paul King and his team throughout our community and we enthusiastically recommend them to all of our family and friends. Our care givers bring expertise, energy, and joy into our household every day! They have become like trusted and beloved family members. We cannot imagine navigating the aging of our parents without the invaluable support of Home Instead Leesburg.

I will say that the care my grandma received from this company was good, however the owner (not sure of the title) was an awful person. First, as someone who works in high end assisted living, the cost for Home Instead is astronomically expensive. My grandma (who wanted to stay at home) needed full time care and the cost was insane. I don't live nearby and had a lockbox on the front door so I could enter when I came to visit. When my grandma went to the hospice house, Home Instead took the lockbox! I flew in, and that very day, my grandma passed. I was in shock and grieving when I went to her house and there was no way for me to get in! I was distraught and livid. It was a weekend, so I had to get really upset to get the keys and the lockbox back from Home Instead that night. The owner of the company eventually agreed to give me the key, but was RUDE the DAY my grandma died and insinuated I was trying to break into my grandma's house even though I had been the one paying the damn bills at Home Instead. Then, when I got back to my grandma's house, the police were there and the officer was disgustingly mean. All of this HOURS after I was sobbing over my grandma's body. I eventually got the police to leave me alone once they realized they were in the wrong. No apologies, though. Just rudeness. I have had a few weeks to process all of this and I am SO ANGRY at these people. Do your aging loved one a favor and choose high end assisted living over this predatory company. *Edit after owner response* INCORRECT. I authorized Home Instead to take the key from inside the house. NOT the lockbox with the extra key. You had the lockbox and BOTH keys. Not cool. Paul, your hollow, robotic attempt to save face will look silly to people reading this review. I cannot help but think you called the police after we met and you pretended to care for a minute.

Mostly pleased with the services they provide. I have to check the billing each period, paying extra because the aide clocks out 1 minute past the hour is excessive. I schedule for 4 hours period, the aides should be aware of the time. When new aides come, there should be a home folder for what we've asked to be done at mom's, this is rare, so we are retraining each new person. Each aide seems to have their own process. So having Michelle as her regular aide is great.

I had applied for this job. This job did not go through this place is a scam. They take your money and then they don’t tell you the process on what is happening. This place actually took a payment scheduled a fingerprint background check that defaulted they stole the money from me by making this false appointment and then the day I called to check on it the next day they canceled my application. This is a total scam. I highly recommend anybody to stay away from this Florida company because if they’re scamming people out of small amounts of money, I would hate to see the people and the caregivers that they are producing and care for people so that if I could give a half a star or no stars, I would because this company has a huge default in their system, and I have taken care of multi family members through my lifespan all and this is not the way you take care of people.
