We have been using Home Helpers of Mequon since May. I think it's normal to feel nervous and overwhelmed when you need to begin the home care process. I cannot say enough wonderful things about about their service. They go above and beyond to make sure the care required is matched to the correct caregiver. Lakeesha is professional, experienced and so kind. She works with the family to ensure the best care is given to the client. Just a delight to work with. Taryn gives wonderful care. She goes above and beyond in the care of our family member who does present her with challenges. Very professional and kind. Home Helpers of Mequon has been a tremendous help and relief to our family. We could not be happier.

I am so grateful To Home Helpers for their kindness and care of my mom. Her CNAs have been wonderful, with a special shout out to Latrice, Bobbie, and Lee who treat mom as if she were their own. And Lakeesha the dispatcher has gone above and beyond to find mom overnight help more than once at last minute due to a change in her status. I would and do recommend this company to anyone needing some help with the care of a loved one.

I used Home Helpers at the recommendation of my daughter who is an NP and worked in memory care. My husband has a form of dementia and needed help when I was gone. We were very pleased with our helper Trianna She has a wonderful.caring personality and kept my husband busy and involved in activities. She did some cleaning also which I appreciated. We have a small dog and she made sure he went outside as needed and he got attention also. I would definitely use HH again and ask for Trianna.

Home Helpers is an outstanding company. We have used 3 different in-home caregiving companies to take care our our aging and ill mother over the past 2 years. While they all have been very helpful we feel that Home Helpers is the most well rounded in the services they offer. Also, they are completely dedicated to providing the safest and most responsive care possible. This has been a very difficult year for safety and their protocols have worked. Our mother has many serious issues including medical, dementia and falling problems. Our Care Manager is outstanding, and because she is a nurse understands our mother's complicated health issues. She has set up a team for both our parents to meet their personal care needs, meals, laundry, and safety. She has been available on short notice to help with assessing falls and other urgent medical issues/questions. Our care manager has also been a great resource for meal and handyman services. The team of people that support our needs are resourceful and responsive. We have used both shift care for 24/7 to now 2 Live-In caregivers. It can be challenging to find the right fit and the team has addressed our concerns/questions with respect and quickly. We have had some wonderful caregivers and our live-in caregivers are well trained, experienced and very caring. Our family can rest more easily knowing that our parents are safe and happy.

A coworker of mine spoke very highly of Home Helpers when she had an immediate need for in-home care for her mom after she broke her arm. When my siblings and I noticed that Mom was not able to keep up with daily home care and personal care, we researched home care agencies and Home Helpers stood out in the crowd! We started 18 months ago with two half days/week mainly for companionship, meals, and shower assist. As Mom's cognitive and mobility challenges increased, Home Helpers became a big part of her 24/7 care team with family members. Having Robin, an RN, manage Mom’s care plan is a definite plus. (Not all agencies have that.) She has helped guide Mom, family and caregivers through some challenging situations. Since Mom never wanted help in her home, she has been a tough sell on in home caregivers, especially as her dementia has caused personality changes. But the Home Helpers caregivers have been very sensitive to Mom’s needs, interests, and personality; and they all work very well with the flow of things around the house. We are especially grateful for Shelley, the caregiver who has been with Mom the longest. Her friendship, compassion, sense of humor, variety of activities, games, crafts, prayer time and patience with Mom have been such great blessings in her life. The Home Helpers office staff have excellent communication, follow through, and attention to details.
