Over all; very nice. Impressed with the fact there is NO Body Odor or other Offensive smells. Too many facilities do not enjoy this outstanding element. The staff is courteous and helpful! Bill Weber, ATP

I am writing this review to share my experience with this facility while my loved one was under their care. Unfortunately, the conditions were deeply concerning and unacceptable. There were clear sanitation issues, including what appeared to be mold in toilets and on windowsills. The smell of urine was persistent throughout the hallways, which made the environment feel neglected and unsanitary. I also observed patients emptying urinals into trash cans, which raises serious concerns about both hygiene and supervision. Beyond the physical conditions, the level of care was equally troubling. There were patients left slumped over in their beds without attention, and many staff members appeared disengaged. It was not uncommon to see nurses and care staff on their personal phones, including FaceTime and calls, rather than actively monitoring or assisting patients. What stood out most was the overall atmosphere, staff was unhappy and overwhelmed, which unfortunately translated into the level of care being provided. Facilities entrusted with vulnerable individuals have a responsibility to provide a safe, clean, and attentive environment. Based on what I witnessed, this location is falling short of that responsibility and should be held accountable for improving both its conditions and patient care.

If you care above your loved ones do NOT bring them to this facility! The lack of care for the patients is indescribable. While there are a one or two quality nurses that work here, the majority of staff are lazy and helpless. I have had a family member stay at this facility for awhile now and have constantly been disappointed in his care. He has been non-verbal most of his life and has been constantly neglected here considering he cannot speak up for himself!! Our family has put in so much effort to help these nurses care for him better by putting up posters with his information and clear instructions on how to help care for him if needed! All I could ever think about is how these care workers/nurses would feel if THEIR family or friend was in the same position as these patients! I highly doubt they would be so careless and lazy. DO NOT be fooled by these random positive reviews that have no legitimate evidence of quality care at this facility. As soon as our family was able to transfer our loved one to a different facility we did immediately!! Save your time, money and conscious by going somewhere else!

I wish this review could give zero stars or negative! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS FACILITY! Over the last year, they have gone completely downhill. It was a continuous struggle to get them to properly care for my brother while he was there. Every time I voiced my concerns or grievances regarding his lack of care, they would listen, seemed concerned and do absolutely nothing except to avoid me the next time I came in. The staff complains they are over worked and understaffed and management denies it. They do did not have enough staff available to take care of these residents, or do anything when residence or family members complained. I can’t tell you how many times I have been to visit and I have had to put gloves on and clean my brother because he had been sitting in his urine and feces for so long, it had gone through the bedding and pads of the bed! It was a horrible experience for both of us! Just last Friday, day after Thanksgiving, I found my brother laying in his bed at 1:30 pm since the day before, soaked! When I asked the nurse why he was still in bed, she said that the CNA told her that my brother refused to get up by saying “I don’t want to get up” HE HASN’T SPOKEN IN 35 years! HES NON-VERBAL! I told the CNA that this was a lie and I asked why he hadn’t been changed and she actually got mad at me, told me she wasn’t his personal assistant and then walked away from me! I pleaded with her to come back and talk to me but she kept walking, told me that if I had a problem to talk to management and she walked into a residents room and slammed the door! I was horrified and spoke to the supervisor who said she would take care of it and when I went back the next day, I found out that she is still working there! Not a single phone call to me by anyone in management. I’ve left messages in the past for Regan and i never receive a call back! I moved my brother out of there this week!! Hillside is absolutely disgusting! When you tour the place, they only show you the hallways that are always polished and shiny. You should ask to go into the rooms and actually take a look at the furniture, the floors and the ceilings. (Pictures attached). There are only a handful of really great employees that deserve to be treated better than they are. This company makes millions of dollars but can’t seem to figure out how to give their employees a raise for over three years! Staff would have to ask me to ask management if the residents floors can be cleaned because they wouldn’t listen to them. Included in the picture is what what my mop looked like before and then after I cleaned a small area next to his bed! I had to bring Clorox wipes just to wipe down his feeding tube, floors and bedside table. I plan on filing a formal complaint for this place as I could write a book as to how shady and dirty this place is!

My husband‘s been there for a week. They are so wonderful very friendly always there when you need them. The food is great even when I open the lid for my husband for lunch is like oh wow it’s gonna be today.. I come real early in the morning and I leave fairly late at night only because my husband has brain cancer. Sometimes he flips out and I’ll kind of wanna be there for him,. He has been in and out of hospitals lately, and I always feel like they’re not gonna come when he calls . So I always spend the night but at this place I feel very confident to leave him at night so I can get some rest and I come during the day to visit him. Don’t want him to miss me.. But I don’t worry at all when I leave great staff, the nurses and the rehab And all the managers .
