-10 zero stars!!! Very unprofessional staff an people who runs it they do not care about patients or family. The administration man is rude an will try give you the run around you can ask for confirmation email is sent you will get i cant do that! You ask for their email you will get a fake one... you ask for corporate number? You get, I cant give that out.... it has been almost a month an still no medical records after making 4+ trips to sign an give every thing they ask for an it is again our lawyer needs another something. It you know your job it should have took one trip to get them. I had medical power of attorney of my grandmother an durable. An I was not geting the phone calls like I should have when she was falling, going to appointments, ER trips, skin tears and so on med changes. They was told no radiation or cemo treatment because her age well guess what... ya active treatment! We found out about cancer from the ER not the nursing home. They aloud a so called family friend sign her out 3 times i know of an we dont evern know who that person is!!! So they just will let anyone sign a person out an go were ever... Really they was told by her when she went in she does not understand any medical stuff that it was total go thur me an they didnt just when they felt like it. They will put in charts they try to call when they didnt an not try again or leave a voice mail or call next number on list. So she had sore an ulcers on foot for almost 3 months or longer that when I first was told about it, it has set up staph an mersa infection so was it being treated like it should have? NO !!!! when she started declining night she passed for airhunger at about 3 a.m. an they gave morphine an another med called black box was I called an told so I could have been their with her if she passed? NO!!! Was I the first call when she passed at 5 a.m. or any family member? NO I WAS THE 3rd... the hospice an funeral home was notified before me i got the call at almost 6 a.m. Was she still in her room when I got their to get to see her an say my good byes? Hell NO... she was already in body bag coming out almost to door! Did all the nurses their get to go in room an ya good byes an get closer? YES they sure did!!!!! So my advice is no do not take your love one their or a dog for that matter. An if you are medical power of attorney you will not be allowed to make the calls an decisions for them like they wanted you to because that legal paper dont mean shit to them! An when you ask the nurses to her face were the phone call was she decided that night you will get eyes rolled an told i assumed you knew....this has mentally and physically broke me i wake up every morning at 3 in panic attacks and at 5 a.m. before I knew they was important times an have been struggling so hard an cant find anyone to help prove they did wrong but I will fight till I get some type of closure I deserve if its last thing I do. I dont want to see anyone go thru what I have an think its ok.

My great grandmother has been at hillcrest for awhile and she loved everyone up there! They took really good care of her and respected her and her privacy. My family loves this place and we are all very very grateful for all of the workers and can’t express enough gratitude to them!

My grand mother is in this nursing home and is doing quite well before she wasn’t She was in a bed couldn’t move, barely talking very weak. She is now setting up getting in the wheelchair willing herself down the hallway. She has color back in her face she can have a conversations with us, and she lets us know when she’s mad she lets us know when she’s happy she couldn’t do that before. She’s eating where she wasn’t before. She wasn’t drinking. She is now. I can see a lot of improvement. I think they’re doing well. She’s doing well. Very happy with her progress.

They watched my grandfather “decline” on Monday night, so much so that he died. When we asked what they did when he started “declining” they said they were “watching” him. Again. He died 2 hours later. This is the most neglectful place I have ever seen. If you want your family members to never come home. This is the place to send them! I wouldn’t send my dog here. My grandpa was there to gain back his strength and was undergoing physical therapy, but somehow in 2 weeks time there, he is no longer with us. Stay. Far. Away.
