About Care Network of Gladstone

About Us

Assisted Living / Residential Care Living

Heritage Village is the ideal solution for seniors who value their independence, yet need some help with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing and medication reminders. We focus on individual wellness, and encourage continued independence with a tailored plan of assistance provided by our caring team members available 24 hours a day. Heritage Village is not only a home-like, resident-centered alternative to many nursing homes, but it is a completely different option to consider when a senior doesn’t require intensive 24 x 7 skilled nursing care.

The Individualized Service Plan

Because we respect the fact that individuals have their own needs and preferences right from the beginning, we meet with each resident and family before they move in – and at regular intervals afterwards – to help determine appropriate care and service. A team of our community professionals comprised of the administrator, director of nursing and direct care giver then work together to create an individualized plan that is monitored on a daily basis. Our focus is on providing care while preserving each resident’s dignity, encouraging independence and best enabling freedom of choice. The plan might include help with personal hygiene and grooming, dressing and clothes selection, showering and bathing, assistance with eating, continence management, mobility, socialization and medication management.

Our people at Heritage Village

Whatever the individual’s needs, our well-trained team are dedicated to fulfilling them with respect and compassion. From the cooks to our nursing staff, all team members are selected to serve seniors because of their big-hearted approach, and they utilize that philosophy on a daily basis as they perform their duties.

Living at Heritage Village

Heritage Village residents enjoy living spaces designed for comfort and confidence, with a choice of attractive carpeted apartments with a full bath. Residents can choose to bring their own furniture, and even their own pet! Every apartment is equipped with an emergency call response system at two locations for added confidence. Our facility is locked at all times so that a resident, who may have lost their way, does not walk out of our building. See Amenities” for a complete list of amenities. We offer two locations to serve your needs. One in Gladstone at 3000 NE 64th Street (near 64th and Antioch Road) and one in the heart of Platte City at 15 Wallingford Drive 1 block south of 92 Highway and 2 blocks west of 2nd Street).

Thought it might be worth looking at but was wrong. Staff was cold to us and just seems like that is allowed. Residents we did speak to were nice and did say the food was okay and staffing could be better, but I know every job has good and bad on staffing. Maybe in time that can be trained to be positive. Only this we highly did not like was hearing personal calls by staff while seeing the place. Wrong place & time to be discussing your weekend party plans.

I have lived at Gladstone for a little under a month now. I have found that the staff are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. They have at least two activities to do everyday. It allows you to meet residents & make new friends. The kitchen staff is friendly & they will accommodate me in any way possible because I'm a picky eater. The food is good too! My new family Welcomed me with open arms because that is what we are, one big happy family.
