My mom has been at Heritage Point since July, and I can truly say I have finally found a place where she is safe and well taken care of. While the facility itself could use some physical upgrades, the actual care she receives is wonderful. From day one, everyone—including the administrative team, nursing staff, aides, and activities coordinators—has been incredibly helpful and kind to my mom. Their communication is outstanding. Anytime there is a medicine change, a fall, a room move, or just a general update, they call to discuss it with me right away. I am never left in the dark. For example, her first night was very difficult; she was confused, crying, and screaming. The staff stepped in immediately to help us. The very next day, Abbie from the administration called just to check on how I was doing and how my mom was settling in. After experiencing a few different facilities, this is the first one that gives me true peace of mind.

I've struggled to write a concise review for several years. I hope there's been improvements since 2023, when my father was last a patient here. If 0 stars were an option, I would've chosen that.

Some of my concerns are endemic to our country's rehab healthcare facilities. Many are understaffed and that staff is underpaid, and this was no exception. While he had at least one exemplary CNA caring for him, there was also one who was physically abusive towards him. More often than not, his needs went unmet.

My father was eventually suspected of having a stroke and admitted to Doylestown and then flown to Jefferson. At Jefferson, it was discovered he was in sepsis due to a psuedomonas infection (a common bacteria in healthcare facilities and nursing homes, which we think he might have avoided if not for some observed, improper catheter procedures at Heritage). He'd also previously complained of shoulder pain, and Heritage told us they'd X-rayed and found no issues. In the hospital, he was found to have a broken clavicle.

He was no doubt a difficult and grumpy patient, but staff should be prepared for that, given the age group they're dealing with. An investigation after his passing did not turn up anything of note, but the missteps we observed would be difficult to prove without video evidence/documentation (which I would recommend people recording if they have concerns for a loved one at this facility).

My mother has just been discharged today. This was the second time she was treated there. Staff was very helpful and informative. If necessary, I would definitely choose them again.

Very professional and very pleasant, no argument with the place. The physical therapy is great, when I came I couldn’t really walk but now I can. So I would say this is a great place.
