Heritage Monona

Heritage Monona is a 143-unit assisted living, enhanced assisted living, and memory care community located in Monona, Wisconsin, just outside Madison and near Monona Lake. The community allows residents to age in place as their care needs change, supported by a multidisciplinary staff available 24/7 with a full-time licensed nurse on site.

Assisted living residents can receive up to 28 hours of personalized care weekly tailored to individual needs. Apartments feature kitchenettes with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, private bathrooms with walk-in showers, and in-floor radiant heat, available in studio, one-, and two-bedroom layouts. Enhanced assisted living serves residents requiring additional physical and medical assistance such as toileting, bathing, dressing, and medication administration, including those with some memory loss and physical impairments.

The memory care program specializes in care for residents with Alzheimer's and related dementias, offering 24-hour compassionate care with personalized nutrition, wellness programs, and medication monitoring. Studio and one-bedroom suites in memory care include private bathrooms, and residents are encouraged to decorate with personal items. The community provides a coordinated calendar of activities designed to enrich residents' lives and support engagement with the world.

Heritage Monona uses advanced care technologies including Vayyar Care for fall detection that immediately alerts caregivers, and TrueLoo smart bathroom systems to provide clinical teams with health and wellness information. The community offers personalized emergency call pendants and ongoing staff training.

Located in Monona close to Lake Monona, several parks, Pier 36 shopping mall, and Monona Golf Course, the community sits near various restaurants and attractions, many within walking distance. Amenities include a pub and socialization area that can be reserved for private parties, with each neighborhood within the community having its own common areas.
