My mom Michele had been here a long time. While I can say they dropped the ball their fair share of times, they also did the very best they could for her with limited staff. When I was there everyone took my questions about her care seriously. Erica, Sheri, Miguel, and everyone who helped to take care of my mom really did the best they could for her. They were good about calling me for her care with updates even when I was hard to get ahold of. I am comforted knowing that she was well taken care of. I would say give them some grace and know they are short staffed but they try.

My mother died here in November of 2024. I received calls why she would fall. But I had no idea my mother had passed away until I called to wish her a happy birthday in June. THEY DID NOT BOTHER TO REACH OUT AND Notify me that my mother had passed away. I had to beg for almost a year for them to provide me with any kind of details. My mom passed away, and they couldn’t be bothered to return a call or talk to me for months. Excuses were, they’re in a meeting. Oh we tried to call you but never went through, the person you need to speak to is on vacation or out for the day. I do not recommend this facility. Plain and simple, oh and if you think I got lost in the shuffle when a new company bought it, no. This mostly happened after the acquisition.

I was a skilled nursing patient spending 3 months in this facility as recently as Nov. 2025. Like all facilities of this nature they have their issues. They are older and don’t have the most up-to-date amenities. They are sometimes short staffed and you occasionally have to be patient if you need something. BUT, I have never been in a better facility and, due to the nature of my illness, I have been in several over the past 2 years - some with much higher reviews. The director of the facility is newer (within the last couple of years) and from what I could tell has made significant improvements during his time there. The staff does become family. Literally all the people who had a hand in my care were compassionate and went out of their way to accommodate my every need no matter how small. I learned to walk again here! The activities director is amazing making sure to include residents in all the activities whether taking people to the zoo for an outing or playing bingo every couple of days. A hair stylist even comes every month or so for free cuts, etc. Bottom line if you are looking for a skilled facility or a long term care residence you should look at Heritage Manor.
