We have an extremely complex special needs son, with a myriad of unique mental and behavioral challenges. He's been at numerous care facilities over the past 30 plus years, including home care, group homes, private facilities and state run facilities. All of which failed to provide the proactive and hands on support he needs to keep him and the community safe. Heritage Lane is the ONLY place, through their unique Milieu therapy approach, that has positively impacted our son's life and his future. We are so thankful for the visionaries that created this truly transformational approach to working with adults such as our son. We are also thankful for the providers and staff at Heritage Lane--they are truly hands-on daily caregivers and therapists (and super great cooks by the way!), that address all facets of life: behavioral modification, life skills, personal hygiene, money management, healthy food choices, peer interaction, nursing, and beyond.
