This nursing home in rural Illinois stands out as one of the most exceptional facilities due to the professionalism of its staff, which fosters an uplifting atmosphere. The facility is immaculately clean, and the residents are generally pleasant. I highly recommend considering this facility as a long-term care option for any family member.

This is the worst care facility I have ever came across. We weren’t greeted when we got inside and were talked to very poorly. My grandfather had bed sores and had a falling episode and it took staff over 2 hours for them to get to my grandfather even though he was pushing the help button over and over. Bedrooms weren’t cleaned like they should have been everyday. I don’t recommend this facility to you or any of your family members. My grandfather passed away in this facility’s cafeteria today 12/5/25. We went to pick up his belongings and the staff already had everything boxed up and ready to go. They had no right touching his things until family gave them the approval which wasn’t the case. His cane was missing until it was asked for and we got told that the nurse was on lunch and we would have to wait to get it until she got back. His walker which was paid for by my grandmother was told that the walker belonged to the facility even tho she paid for it. We are still missing a horse blanket that is his that we haven’t gotten back. If I could give this facility a 0 star rating that is what I would rate it. Every staff u seen was either sitting at the front desk or hanging around chatting with other staff. Clients were eating lunch today at 11:45 A.M and no staff was present at all during this time.

Wonderful staff! All of administration is very accommodating with my other schedules like school and anything involving my kids. I actually left for a couple of months and could not wait to come back “home” to Helia!

It's kinda weird truly, you enter I believe the side door with the arch? When you do the alarm goes off. I'm not sure there is another way? I get it I'm sure the alarm goes off in case someone wonders out? Really wasn't greeted and was looked at like I wasn't wanted to be dealt with but... I wanted to visit my Aunt. It all felt off putting and unfriendly. I'm a bit saddened by the whole situation, however Im sure it's a very tough job, I know I wouldnt have the heart or strength to work their... Bless you all for trying to take care of the sick.

They had an Event for the Community. We took our child. While at the event it became crowded. They told the people that were there with their children they would continue with the drawing privately and results would be posted. This has left, I am sure, many parents and children wondering what the results were. Nothing has been posted and other things that they claimed ty weren't going to do were done.These would have been fun for the children.
