Was transported from countyside hospital after 2 back surgerys for therapy to walk again. I'm going through so much in my life right now. My daughter has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and after loosing her 5th child at birth. I'm a smoker and as you can imagine the stress and the need to smoke to calm down. They came to me and said I couldn't have my cigarettes or lighter with me. UMM no you mean to tell me you can't have cigarettes in my room I'm not a resident I'm only there for therapy with a smoking area outside my window but you can walk past my urinal that I asked to be empty 3 times....I got out I waited to get home to use the bathroom.

I was honestly a little skeptical at first because the Google rating was lower than I expected, and there weren’t many interior photos available, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, after visiting Heather Hill Healthcare Center, I can confidently say my concerns were completely put to rest. This facility is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The environment is very friendly, and the nurses and staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and compassionate—not only toward the residents but also toward their families. You can truly see that they care. The residents are clean, well cared for, and treated with dignity. One thing that really stood out to me was that there was absolutely no unpleasant odor, which can often be a concern in skilled nursing facilities. The entire property is beautifully maintained, and the level of care provided feels exceptional. Heather Hill Healthcare Center exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a skilled nursing facility that is clean, professional, and genuinely caring, this place is absolutely wonderful.

Very caring staff, everything is clean. Doesn’t smell like bodily fluids. I didn’t have to wait for 3-4 hours for someone to come when I pressed for help. Lisa and Nary Grace in physical therapy and occupational therapy got me up and walking. From being bed bound to a walker after having emergency back surgery. I felt like I was part of a family. I meet with administrators and directors of each department including Mike the new admin. Thank you Health Hills for helping me with post operative care and rehab after my emergency back surgery.

I had some ups and downs here as a patient from physical therapy and my personal life but honestly when I first came here I was scared being in a new environment and meeting new people but Peggy, Justin, Ricky, Frances, Ms. Lisa (she used to work in the front office), Rob, Miranda, all the nurses and CNAs, and Ashley…and some of the residents I’ve met and got to know…they made me feel like I was safe and welcomed! I can’t forget Maura, other people in the kitchen, PT and OT, and housekeeping/laundry-aide too! Everyone was so nice, we experienced funny moments, bad moments, sad moments, and happy moments but we did it as a family! I know I was the youngest there but I did felt welcomed. They treated me like I mattered, my emotions and physical appearance mattered and it changed me to do my goals even after a traumatic experience happened to me of me losing my daughter and my body shutting down but succeeded on walking and standing again. Now it’s time for me to leave, get my GED, go to college, and buy my own first home! I’ll always come and visit Heather Hills and help as much as I can when I visit! I appreciate everyone being there and listening to me. Also watch me grow into my old self and remind myself I can do anything! Thank you Heather hills residents and staffs!

I just returned home from sharing a beautiful meal with my cousin who lives at Heather Hill Healthcare and her husband and his family. The staff prepared a delicious meal with all the trimmings and table settings. Everyone at the Healthcare Center was so nice and giving and so willing to serve us Thanksgiving. Today on Thanksgiving I am so thankful that my cousin has so many people to care and love her. Such a caring staff!
