Great place for the senior citizens to do many activities!

I'm commenting on the heartland adult day center in the south, not the activity center run by Phyllis in the north (Phyllis is very nice). I used to volunteer a lot in adult day center as a college student. I liked the seniors there and I cared for them just like I cared for my own folks. I often spent time with them talking about some old slangs and asked them what those meant, for example, "not enough room to swing a cat". And they laughed a lot by explaining these to me. I could tell they really liked spending time with me. But I don't think they laughed like that often because that center (or all day centers) was boring. But later something shameful happened, some employee at that time lied to the supervisor that I blamed some senior by telling him he was not a good dad. God knows I was joking with them all the time, and they were all laughing. Then I went to explain to the supervisor, but she was indifferent. I think that employee was probably jealous of me gaining attentions from the seniors.<br><br>But my main point is that these employees didn't seem to care for seniors. If some volunteer like me could make the seniors so happy, why did they treated me like that?? Their behaviors hurt me, 5 years passed and I still remember it. That makes me feel people can be so malicious towards others.
