The staff, every single one of them, has been so amazing! We were able to get admitted and all of the things he needed same day. The on call nurses have been incredible as well. Every single person has been kind, caring, and attentive. We are so grateful that our community has such a compassionate team during one of the most difficult parts of life.

We HIGHLY recommend Heartland Hospice over Hospice of McAlester. Our family used them both, and Heartland was far more professional in every way! Heartland fully listened to our family concerns, gave us the best advice & the correct medicine for our loved one, before our family member passed.

My mother had been transferred to a Tulsa Hospice Center December 2025, after a 2 week hospital stay.She wanted to go home for Christmas and be with me, her husband and her little Dog. After 2 weeks of a run a round with trying to get her home a friend of mine suggested me reaching out to Erica an account executive for Heartland Hospice McAlester .She had all the equipment delivered that night and My mother home the following day. 4 days before Christmas The admitting Nurse, Sonia Ford came and immediately told us " I am here to help your Mom Live " I will always remember the burden lifted that day . My Mother had a regular Nurse Laura, who would take such good care of my Mom, even with my Mom's ornery moments. LAURA walked me through this journey and helped me with my emotions about the transitioning . MY MOTHER PASSED January 31, 2026 Sonia Ford happened to be on call and I was blessed to have her there at the beginning and the end. Taryn the Social worker and Jeff the chaplain kept in constant communication. My Mom said on Wednesday that Teresa the Hospice Aide gave her the best baths and she felt so clean after each one . Thank you for all you did for me and My Mom Charla Yates. I think she had extra time because of your Company. Sincerely Carol Harris
