Had a high degree of staff turnover these first couple years. Sometimes difficulty in getting showers. But mom loves playing bingo.

We are disappointed with the turn over of staff. We moved my mother Marilou Vale in mid November 2024 and there have too many staff people to attempt to keep up with. The communication has been lacking on a variety of topics and there is still confusion on daily necessities like showers and laundry.<br><br>We look forward to seeing dramatic improvement.<br><br>Steve & Lori Vale

AWFUL !<br>My wife was in Memory Care due to Alzheimer's here for 11 weeks (Sept 11-Nov 21, 2025) until I had to remove her fearing for her life. She was admitted to ER for unresponsiveness with an ER diagnosis of Polypharmacy (Over medicated with sedatives prescribed by Hearthstone's nursing staff) . She was found naked in a man resident's room witnessed by another residents daughter. The daughter finally got an aide to come and heard banging on the wall for 15 minutes until she came out.<br>Tests that were to be ordered such as labs and urinalysis were promised but never ordered for ankles so swollen and possible urinary infection ( which was was found in the new facility in one week ) she couldn't wear shoes. The day after I took her to another facility 3 fist size yellow bruises were found on her back. Bruising of this nature takes 7-10 days to discolor, which coincides with her being in the room with the man resident and aide.<br>Good luck having anyone return phone calls. Lots of turnover in the 2 months my wife was there.
