Heart To Heart Al

Heart to Heart AL is a 10-bed assisted living home in Tucson, Arizona, offering a home-like setting with 24-hour care provided by certified caregivers. The community provides month-to-month rent on an all-inclusive basis, with the first month prorated.

Care services include medication management and assistance with activities of daily living at supervisory, personal, and directed levels. Caregivers assist with self-administration of medications, blood sugar monitoring and insulin injections, wound care and dressing changes, and other treatments as ordered by a medical practitioner and for which caregivers have been trained. The home accommodates residents who have difficulty accessing the restroom by providing bedside commodes in rooms as needed. Respite stays of up to 30 days are available for residents whose care needs fall within the community's scope of services.

The community partners with outside agencies to support resident care, including visiting physicians and nurses on a monthly and as-needed basis. A podiatrist visits every couple of months or as needed. Additional services are coordinated through home health agencies for physical therapy, speech therapy, and wound care. Dentist and optometrist services are offered, and the home works with hospice agencies when needed.
