I really didn't want to give this place a one star its a minus one star in my book. I have been in a lot of rehb places and this place is the worse place ever the nursing staff could care less about you all the are here is to get a pay check I had a CNA come in one day speaking on her phone she had earplugs in i thought she was speaking to me she turned and told me it was not my conversation. The other day my sugar dropped to 32 the nursing staff took their sweet time in moving to handle this life threatening emergency. But don't get me wrong there are some great employees like the night nurse Debbie she is very caring and loving nurse that she leasons to her patients and t h sir needs. One night Marie at 2.a.m. she unstopped our toilet so we didn't have to go use the hall restroom she didn't have to do that but she did. It was reported all day that the toilet wasn't working right the staff could care less and it took Marie to fix it until the repair man came the next day. The activity lady Ruby and her staff is great caring and very helpful physical therapy Ginny is very caring Occupational therapy. Caleen very good as well speech therapist Jessica. Is wonderful she's very caring and loving if you are having a bad day she works with you plus she gas grwat storys i love the one when she bought her three little pigs yes i said three little pigs Jessica is down to earth. BUT ITS A SHAME that the few employees that do care has to be added in with the worst employees and the worst pleace to be at. Like I said most of the employees are here just to receive a paycheck they are lazy and don't care. If you don't have to come here please don't to the family members that makes the decision please think twice before sending your mom or dad here.i hope this helps. WORST PLACE EVER !!!!!!!!

Here's an update: 5/2/2026 There's so much more to this nightmare tale of mine which I posted earlier. Do yourself a favor and read below my initial review of the physical facility as well Immediately upon reading the summary of my discharge that said I needed after discharge care due to Dementia. As stated above, I caled and spoke with Dr. James Gifford, who assured me he would alter the form. Once again, I don't ever remember speaking with him while I was there and, if I did, it was for a minimal moment. Now, I'm reviewing my records to find that there was no change to the Discharge form, there was a small Clinical Note burried deep within the MyChart Portfolio that you'd never be aware of it unless you specifically looked. This does me no good because, the primary comment will follow me everywhere and an "OOPS, My bad" comment will never be noticed. So I called again today. I honestly didn't think he'd be there since it was a Saturday but I wanted to get an idea of his hours for a call back. Surprise, Surprise, I spoke with Diane, who confirmed with her supervisor that Dr. Gifford is "Never there" and she didn't have a contact number for him. She suggested I Google him. Makes we wonder how the get him if needed and when he squeezed in time to make his review and comments of my health. This place is getting worse and worse with every effort I make to get answers. DON'T LET YOUSELF OR YOU LOVED ONES GET TRAPPED HERE! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was admitted to the Lee Health Park Rehab Center after knee surgery. The first night I cried, not from pain but from the deplorable condition of the room. The bathroom sink had a larger corner section that was broken with raw pressboard showing through. It had been “repaired” clear packing tape. The previous occupant had left electrical items that hadn’t been removed. The room itself was dark and depressing. There were many other things that are too numerous to list, like no private bath & designated shower days, no matter if you needed one sooner. I found out that, upon admission, the reason for my care was listed as General Malaise and not knee therapy. Therapy was a joke & did nothing to improve my situation. Upon discharge the form said I needed Home Healthcare because of my Dementia! I lost it at that & called the doctor, whom I saw for maybe 5 minutes on my first day yet he signed off on the Dementia diagnosis “after his review” of me, that I demanded that be removed, which he did after I threatened a lawsuit if it stayed. I felt total relief after I left. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my ex-husband for care! Don’t be fooled by the “Health Park” name like I was.

The doctors are very professional, and the emergency nurses are very knowledgeable and caring. But I realized after staying there after the delivery of my baby, Some of the nurses were careless and unprofessional. The person who was in charge of taking Vital Statistics for birth certificate, is a total disaster. They messed up the name of my newborn on the birth certificate along with their family name on the paper. After I fixed the paper, they still send the messed up paper to the Florida Vital Statistics Center.

If I could give a 10 I would, EVERYONE in this facility are kind, caring they treat you like you are family. I really CANT complain about anything. Im so happy and satisfied I choose to come here I wouldn't have gone this far without them. I was scared to death to come because you hear all these horrible things but NOT this place. Its VERY clean.. I had a hip replacement I was supposed to stay at least 3 weeks but because of their care I made it home in 11 days!!! Its a bitter sweet to leave, I will miss EVERYONE horribly. THANK YOU AGAIN EVERYONE!

-5*. This place was horrible. I was there for therapy and they placed a 100 yo male in the room with me. Screaming and feces all night. For three days I asked to be moved. I had been asking for headphones to help drown out the sound. Said they would put in a work order. He turned he tv up to max volume and they were there in 5 minutes with headphones. He’s deaf. No common sense at all.
