My mother has been at Haven Post Acute for 2 months, minus 2 short hospital stays in between (not at the fault of the facility). Upon initial admission there we some challenges; however, the administrator, Oliver, took my concerns seriously and they were addressed in a timely manner. He scheduled a meeting with all of the department directors and my questions were answered. Since then, my mother's care has been great. Majority of the CNAs we work with are very caring, and you know they are in this field because they want to help others. In the mornings, we generally have Mellony or Jordan as our CNAs, and they are the sweetest girls who have always gone above and beyond to help us. They keep us laughing with their silliness, and that helps with my mom's mental health. My mom needs a hoyer lift to get out of bed, and these girls do the job with no complaints and some days even greatly encourage mom to get out of bed if it has been a few days. There is a CNA here, Tay, who, even though she is never my mom's CNA, she goes above and beyond to help if she knows there is something we need. The morning LVN, Alexis, is a great help and so kind, always getting my mom pain pills in a timely manner when she needs them. In the evenings we generally have Fuchsia as our CNA, and again, she goes above and beyond to care for my mother's needs. The afternoon LVN, Deryk, is a person I can rely on to get answers that I have for my mom's care. And when he is not here, Marc Anthony is another person who helps my mom a lot. He knows she has a lot of issues with pain, and the first thing he does at the start of his shift is to come in and ask my mom if she needs any pain meds before he starts passing out meds to everyone else. One of the RNs, Natalya, has been a godsend, answering questions and concerns that I have with my mom's health. She is very caring and puts 100% into her job. The Nurse Practitioner, Delisa, has done an amazing job keeping me apprised of my mother's test results. She is very fast to call me and talk out a plan to address my mom's needs. Bonnie in the business office has taken so much time walking me through insurance concerns, and just been an open ear when I have needed to vent and cry to someone who understands what I am going through. Theresa and Noemi in the social services office have been great as well. Noemi has spent hours on the phone trying to help me get appointments scheduled for my mom, and helped get transportation scheduled for those appointments. Overall, majority of the staff here is willing to help, even if they are not working with you that day. Just walking down the hall, there is a staff member there to ask if I need help with anything. The administration here is very active in the facility, and the directors of the different departments jump in and help when they need to. I see that occur on a regular basis. My mom's biggest complaints are the food. I understand they recently hired new staff in the kitchen, so hopefully that is something that can be improved upon. And her other complaint is the cable. There are very few channels available, and that is a frustration for patients that are mostly bedbound, like my mother. We were at another facility before Haven, and I have been very impressed in the care she has received here. She has seen the dentist 3 times already, podiatry came, and I believe the eye doctor is coming soon. My mom still has a lot of health issues, and they do not hesitate to order a blood test or radiology test, if it is something they think needs to be looked into further. This facility is about 45 minutes each way for me to come see my mom, but I am willing to make the drive because they are taking care of her so well. Thank you to everyone at the facility that makes my mom's day that much better. And mine for that matter. I leave here every day knowing that they will call me if there are any issues or concerns, and that gives me peace of mind.

Horrible experience. First night I brought my mom the room was painted over all kinds of mold. That same first night she fell I came in the morning they denied the fall. They didn't even want to send her to the hospital I called the paramedics she was injured from her back. I called the state eventually they showed up and found them negligent. I spoke to the administrator Oliver and was very unprofessional saying my mom was crazy and made up the lie for attention. I normally don't make reviews but this place was so bad people need to know and keep their loved ones away.

My mother has been at Haven Post Acute for the past three weeks, and I am very grateful for the care she has received. Everyone has been attentive and compassionate, including the nurses, staff, case managers, doctors, and social workers. The team even held a meeting to provide an update on her temporary stay, her progress, and the areas where she still needs support. That meant a lot to me and showed how much they truly care. Everyone has been wonderful, and my mother is getting better. They have also gone the extra mile to make sure I have what we need for when she returns home. This is not an easy job, and I truly appreciate all of the hard work, kindness, and support from everyone here.
