My husband and I have had more experience than we wanted learning about and experiencing assisted living places over the last few years. My in laws lived in multiple places as their needs changed and my mom lived in one place prior to finding Harvest. We are so grateful for the staff and care team at Harvest. They are kind and caring and do a great job being available for open communication. The place is light and bright. The residents are friendly and I love seeing people sitting in the cafe playing cards or just visiting. The outdoor patio area is lovely too.

My mother has been living at Harvest for over 2 years now and I couldn't be more pleased. We recently had to move her from assisted living into the memory care section. The transition was difficult but the staff went above and beyond to help make it as smooth as possible. It gives me peace of mind every day knowing she's in such a good place.

My mother in law is a resident at Harvest of Roanoke and we have been very happy with her care there thus far. It is a beautiful place and very clean. They have lots of fun activities for the residents and the staff is very welcoming and caring. The communication is excellent. If we ever have a question or issue, they get back to us in a timely manner. Linh, the Executive Director, is great to work with and very professional. If you are looking for an assisted living facility for a loved one, come take a tour of Harvest of Roanoke and check it out!

I am very grateful for the management of and staff at Harvest. My dad moved to Harvest 5 months ago after suffering a stroke and they made the transition for both my dad and I seamless. I’m completely at peace knowing that the medical staff watches over him and alerts me the moment something is off and needs attention. The entire staff has great rapport with my dad and the other residents. It’s not easy for some to make the transition to assisted living (my dad), and they have all interacted with him in such a way to gain his trust and friendship. At Harvest, my dad is able to be seen by a doctor, do PT/OT, has lots of activities (movie room is his favorite), and has made precious friends. All in all, I am very satisfied with our choice to make Harvest my dad’s home.
