I was there for 10 days after back surgery for rehab. I was treated well except I was prescribed pain meds and when I needed them I had to tell an orderly who was supposed to relay the request to the nurse. Sometimes I had to tell them 6 times and they assured me each time they told the nurse. Then when the nurse finally brought my meds ( up To 2 hours late) she would say no one told her I needed them. After extensive back surgery she should have been more attentive to my needs for the pain meds my doctor prescribed. I did hardly any physical therapy at all because I was in too much pain. Also could not eat the food because of no salt even though I needed it. My blood pressure got so low due to no salt they actually sent a doctor to check on me. .even then I had to get family members to bring salt to me. There was a young man who was an orderly there who was extremely nice and attentive. Also the director for activities was great. The nurse was the one who did not do her job well and should be replaced. I was treated well except for that. I lost 15 pounds in that 10 days because the food was inedible mostly due to no salt. It was kept clean and there were no odors which was great. All in all, due to conditions in other places, I would recommend this place to stay, just keep an eye on the person there.

My granny was in this nursing home! She had dementia and was not the person who she used to be. They took her in after my granny was in the hospital. I understand my granny could be hard to deal with. But the staff the nurses some were very mean! I complained one time because my granny wasn't eating. The next day I was there the nurse left food all over her and she stunk really bad. The other time there was this young African-American girl. I don't know her age but she started talking down to me like I was a baby. I know I don't look my age but I am an adult. I demanded to be treated like one I don't know her name or I would have reported her. I can't help how I look but her and I were fixing to start an argument inside the building. She kept bullying me. But the head nurse who runs the building was always very nice! If I would have known the other girl's name I would have told her. This girl looked to be in high school or early in college. I'm older than her and I felt very disrespected. I don't know what the other patient's mother told her. But you should never judge a book by its cover! You don't know me you don't know what I've been through. You don't know what I know you don't know me at all! My granny is gone now and I should have written this way sooner. But I had other things in my life going on. If you bring your family member here make sure they are well treated? Because my granny wasn't treated well.

I visit here often and it seems like a decent place. I have always had positive interactions with the staff. I have seen no problems there and it has an acceptable odor, unlike some other nursing homes.

Really this was a horrible nightmare. Most of the staff are there for a check , but have no business in patient care . I did have a few people who treated you like a person and was a bright beam of caring and concern for the patient . Someone that has a higher position and cares about the way the people are treated should send a patient to see for themself how ugly the staff treats patients . I could tell specifics if I thought it would matter , I assure you that the administration on sight has no intent of making improvements.
