I had a family member cared for at Harrison Point. He was well taken care of. Nurses were excellent ,as well as the aids that helped him. The food looked delicious, and nutritional. The staff was so accommodating, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this facility.

My brother was taken here to heal and has been woefully neglected. He has lost so much weight (he is 6’1”, and went in at 101lbs and is now 75lbs) due to the staff being unable to get him his pain medication so he can eat, in a timely manner. This place is supposed to help. To heal. To rehab. It is actually making things worse. When he pushes the call button it takes an hour, at least, to be addressed. By then he is in so much pain, unable to eat, and can only sleep. We’ve never seen him this bad in his condition. It’s been less than a week since he has been there. What are you guys doing? How do you not know his medical history when it was provided to you at the ER and by him? You were also informed of his dietary needs to multiple different nurses!! And the blame was placed on him. This sounds like malpractice and neglect to me. And why is it impossible to get someone to answer any phone?

Our family member came to Harrison Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation with broken bones that left him with limited mobility. He needed rehabilitation and assistance with daily activities, but his condition was stable. After a short stay, he was hospitalized and fighting for his life with severe malnutrition. The hospital staff said that it was the worst case of malnutrition they had ever seen and they were getting us ready for his death. During his stay here, he was repeatedly provided food that did not meet his dietary requirements and was unable to eat any of the food brought to him. It took six days for staff to get in touch with us to let us know that he was "refusing to eat." When we brought food that he was able to eat, he would often be waiting hours for staff to provide the medication he needed before he could eat. Waiting absurd amounts of time for staff to attend to him for any assistance was the standard during his stay. When he entered this facility, he weighed approximately 110 pounds. He now weighs 75 lbs. To put that in perspective for you, he is a 6'1" adult male. When our family voiced our concerns about his care and condition, we were told that he was refusing to eat and being uncooperative. However, after being transferred to the hospital near death, he has been cooperative with all staff members and is willing to do whatever is necessary to improve his health. That raises serious questions about the explanations given by the staff at Harrison Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Staff was fantastic across the board. Informative, educational and caring. Moms was well taken care of. I will be eternally grateful.<br>Thank you Harrison Pointe!<br>P.S. we even brought pizza 1 day for her to enjoy 🍕😁
