My loved one does not get to eat if he doesn't eat what they make. No menus, no meal options and the water is left in hallway in a pitcher if they want a drink. They eat in their room or a table facing the wall in the hallway. Room and hallways smell like urine or feces. No social interaction, no music and no activities. The aides (who are not trained for dementia patients) sit in hallway either on their phones, laying on loveseat or watching TV. Seen it all. When state comes in the D.O.N makes everything seem so perfect. Not enough staff so an aide spends the night to sleep and gets paid for it and her room has bed bugs. State should be ashamed of themselves. No one deserves to live like this. If you love your loved one DO NOT PLACE THEM HERE. We did not place our loved one here, the guardian did. Such a sad, depressing place. Should be closed down or new management.
