Beautiful facility itself, however, I have spent almost every day there visiting my nana the past 2 years and witnessed multiple issues that their management team refuses to address. They have their staff lie on assessments, so you are forced to pay higher monthly rent without receiving any additional care. I currently pay for a 2 person assist and barely even get one person to respond when there are issues. The management is only out for the money and does not have the best interest of any of their residents in mind. Please, if you have loved ones here get them as soon as possible. If you can't get them out I highly recommend getting a camera so you can check on them and make sure they are ok because the staff does not. Management will lie to you and tell you that you are not allowed to have a camera but if you question it, they will allow it (strange). I have stayed quiet as long as I could but after seeing the way they treat their staff and resident's' family members I've had enough, we will be moving as soon as possible.

Hampton Manor Woodhaven has provided everything we wanted/needed for our loved one. The staff is friendly, accommodating and always willing to talk to you. The facility is clean and there are many activities and programs to stimulate and socialize the residents. We are very pleased with our loved one being in this facility.

They are very caring to their residents. My mother enjoys the activies, music. and social activies. The place is bright and clean. I don't have to worry about her care and safety.

We were elated after reviewing this facility back in November 2024. It’s a beautiful facility. Food is good. The Activity Director is top notch. However, there’s some pertinent downsides. Majority of the aides are unqualified or no desire to work. The turnover of employees is pathetic. Paying for a level one care, $700 per month, besides the cost to reside there (showering, given medications & weekly cleaning of rooms) leaves a not only concern but unjustified charge. Our 91 year old mom has been given wrong medication s, skip cleaning her room, as told her room is so clean & nice. She has rung her bells & whistles in the night, (mind you, it’s not a nursing facility nor a hospital where aides are busier). Waiting over an hour for someone to show up, in the night. Is told, get ready for a shower in 10 minutes. Only to wait over an hour at 8-9 pm, no shows. So mother does on her own. She is a fall risk, too. 4 assisted showers, since November. Absurd. We bring it to the attention of staff. Nothing changes. Proof of, you can’t judge a book by its cover! Very disappointed!!! **newer aide, Emily is simply the best, I must add. However, she’s days and certainly not there 7 days a week. She’s truly the first asset. Kudos to her🙌

Hampton Manor of Trenton is a beautiful facility. Even the most minor construction/design details were well thought out. But more importantly, it’s the people. From the housekeepers to maintenance to the chef to the front office; everyone is kind and caring. They speak and treat their residents with kindness and respect. They listen to resident input at monthly meetings. The activities are endless; there is something for everyone. Hands down the best the downriver area has to offer!
