I was told not to get my dialysis site water and the water will go into my heart major problem. Now I have cleaned myself and they won’t change my linen. Things were good when they did their job but now it’s all turned around. I don’t need this or them.

Think seriously before placing a loved one here. The intercom crackles before and after each "call out." Loudly. Day and night. The staff gathers in the halls, talking and laughing loudly, all night. Bathing never happens. My loved one was there ten days and was not bathed by the staff ever, even though they mentioned it. The public restrooms stink and are usually out of supplies. No indication of how/when therapy actually happens. Pitiful meal sizes even after consultation with dietary. Aides mumble. Many many lights are burned out. Staff doesn't seem to know how call lights work - even I can figure that out! Channel guide for TV not provided even after several requests (a small thing, but it should be easy enough to produce at a moment's notice). Promised equipment never appears. Facilities geared for little old ladies, not taller men with physical challenges. Wheelchairs and bedside commodes rarely available. So many papers to sign so quickly - and we don't get copies. No idea what we actually agreed to. Aides not trained on proper lifting procedures - or using proper equipment. Nurses station unattended at night. Signs have lists of things for CNAs/aides to do - like fingernails and toenails, but it sure didn't happen. Front door - and all room doors - need felt to keep them from SLAMMING when being closed. Nothing like being awakened from a sound sleep by a banging door or doors! Staff name tags rarely visible. TV not visible except when laying in bed. Having said all that, the actual caring staff were for the most part helpful, cheerful, and caring, and I appreciate all they did.

Mom seems to be happy here. I like that everyone has to sign in at the front door. However I have gotten past the sign in desk several times without being asked to sign in. There is no bad smell so far. I like how the building is in small communities. Mom has not been here for long so I have not had a lot of interaction with the staff. So far everyone is nice and helpful. I will update my review in a few months.

My mother in law was in here before she passed away. I have never in my life seen such a clean and well equipped home like I did there. The workers are awesome! Thank you to all the staff that took care of Carolyn Stephens. I just cant say enough good things about them ! If you have someone that really needs to be taken care of in an expert way, take them here.
