Care was unorganized and lacking. Nursing staff administering sedating medications prior to evening meals. Would not cut food at meal times for my loved one whose dominant arm was broken and in a sling. Communication with administrator was difficult and conflicting. Nursing was not administering appropriate medications, stating they just worked there part time and weren’t familiar with the resident. I was also never notified about conditions that came up during stay until I saw them on visits myself—including conditions requiring antibiotics that were not obtained by facility as instructed by home health company. Would not recommend this facility to anyone unless all they need is meal preparation and laundry services which you can definitely obtain at home for less that the monthly rate at Greensprings.
