Unfortunately, this assisted living facility is not very great! Sadly, not all, but many of the staff/nursing (cna's)/kitchen staff are just not accountable. Management shady at best. Services are misrepresented on website for sure. Transportation for residents is pathetic (van always broke). Facility services remain broke/out of order for months. Staff have their kids running around. Alot of loafing and collecting paychecks. Pictures on website of past activities are super old. Very little activities provided for the residence like the pictures depict. You can do better Regency: much, much better!

Friends that live there seem to enjoy their homes. They have on-site maintenance. If you're looking for a new home it's definitely worth looking into.

Hello, I just wanted to leave a brief review because my Mother just moved in to Grand Regency on Friday so she hasn't even been there one week. However, even in that short amount of time my Mom has only wonderful and positive things to say about GR. One thing that she just raved about is an administrator by the name of Michelle who helped her with her unpacking and hanging clothes in her closet! As an only child, living in Phoenix, nothing makes me happier than getting a good, positive report from my Mom. This is her 4th different place she's lived in Peoria in the last 17 years. She also told me that the Grand Regency is a beautiful place with nice rooms, a great, kind, and helpful staff, nice residents, fun activities, good food, and just an overall nice and positive vibe! I am just absolutely ecstatic about her first report to me! This is by far the happiest she has been in her first week at any of the places that she has lived in previously! Hearing this wonderful update from her is seriously making me glow and smile from ear to ear! I decided to call and ask for Michelle to thank her for her caring and kindness towards my Mom. She answered immediately and was also extremely warm and kind to me also telling me not to hesitate if I had any questions or requests. Thanks and God Bless to Michelle and the entire staff at Grand Regency for making my Mother's first 5 days extremely special, inviting, and kind! I know she is in wonderful hands and I couldn't be happier!<br>💜🙏💜🙏💜🙏💜🙏💜🙏

I'm a new resident and am so impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff are. I feel truly blessed to be living in...a castle, filled with Bavarian antiques! Yet we have modern amenities like a mini fridge and microwave in each room. Meals are surprisingly good and nutritious. The menu ranges from lemon chicken to Szechuan chicken, chopped steak in mushroom sauce, ham with yams and so much more. If you're not a fan of fried catfish, request a hamburger or grilled cheese or a salad. The kitchen staff will even box it up so you can take it back to your room, if you prefer not to eat in the dining room. My favorite breakfast is the egg casserole with spinach and hash browns. So healthy and tasty. Stefanie provides excellent nursing assistance. I love my "room" which is more like a two-room apartment with a new Amana heater/cooler in each room. So grateful for the walk-in shower with grab bars. Housekeeping staff remove trash every day. There are activities scheduled every day, sometimes with live music in what was originally the hotel lobby with a grand piano. This feels like my "forever home."

I moved my father in in January 2025. I was so nervous and they made me feel at ease. Since then, everything has been great. He is a grumpy guy but they know how to handle him and have even told me they enjoy him, which is a miracle. The staff is great and are always there for me, and him, when we need them! I am very happy with Grand Regency.
