I would NOT really give this facility 1 star to be rather honest. However i did and that would be for the handful ( if a handful!!) of employees that were excellent with my grandma. I did learn alot about nursing homes in the last couple months. The one thing i will say is when employees start quitting like no tomorrow, and 4 patients die in less then 4 weeks, RUN do NOT use this facility!!! I am not sure what has happen here in the last 6 months but the facility has went downhill!! I saw it with my OWN eyes!! If you Love your Loved ones do NOT leave them here because they will fade , FAST!

They deserve a 5 star rating throughout their whole building. Their therapy department is one of the best i have been to. The dragon lady pushes you to do your best and hardest to get better to go home. Everyone is friendly and helpful good people. Plus everyone is not afraid to help each other if they need too. One of my reasons why i put myself on the waiting list to be a permanent resident there.

My father's stay was alright but the financial part needs to chill. If you receive a payment within the month (no matter the amount) don't threaten collections.

We made the decision to move our mom from a 1 start facility to a 5 star facility. Grand Rapids care center has been the absolute Best place to move our mom!! The food is phenomenal. I cannot say enough good things about the staff from the administrator to the management, nurses and aides. The care they provide is Top notch and there is so much love and compression given to the residents! If you're looking for a great facility to place your loved one- I recommend Grand Rapids care center hands down! Thank You to all the staff for running such a great facility 🫶🏻
