My Mom is a current resident at Gracious Heart and I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and how they care for my Mom. Mark and Everlyn are the best!! My Mom ADORES them and the feeling is mutual. Our family was truly blessed when we found Gracious Heart. Thank you is just not enough to describe how much peace I have in my soul, knowing my Mom is in the best hands possible.

We are SO happy that we found this adult family home for my mom. They are more than just an AFH, they are a family. The love and care that they pour into my mom and the other residents is amazing. Prior to moving my mom there, she was in bad shape. She was living in a different AFH that had severely neglected her. My mom had severe bed sores and skin breakdown from excessive urine. She was depressed and had lost the sparkle in her eyes. She would cry when I had to leave after a visit or an outing. We knew we had to move her! When we moved her into Gracious Heart AFH, my mom instantly perked up. Everlyn and Mark welcomed my mom with flowers and a balloon and big hugs. They were so loving and kind. My mom quickly settled in there. They took her care very seriously and gently cared for her skin to ensure it started healing. They followed doctors orders and went above and beyond to make sure my mom’s skin was not only healing, but that she was comfortable and pain free. In just a couple weeks my mom’s skin was greatly improved. After months of pain and discomfort at her other place. On top of the gentle and consistent care of my mom’s skin, they keep her mentally and emotionally stimulated. They play games regularly, they sing, they cook together. It’s truly like a family there. My mom LOVES it there! If you are looking for an adult family home for a loved one, I would HIGHLY recommend Gracious Heart! All the residents are so happy there.
