My husband was at God Sam's in Indianola for 10 days. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was good and very nutritional. Physical therapy staff was very patient and worked with the husband the best they could due to his dementia and Parkinson's. One suggestion is check the residents hourly to see if they need their depends changed, rather than every two hours. My husband was in the skilled unit.

After several months we chose to move dad to another facility due to a severe lack of person hygiene care. Not acceptable !! And substandard living conditions. Gonna take the high road and leave it at that, but….we could write a book about Good Samaritan’s. I’d think twice and look around before leaving a loved one here

Thank you for the excellent Care you gave my mom, Ruth Cradic, from day 1 to the day she passed on. The staff, from the housekeeping, dietary, front office, to the CNAS, RNs & social workers have been simply incredible. My family and I will be eternally grateful for your compassion, love & professionalism that was given to her. It was all very sincere, was very plain to see. I wish I could name everyone, but for fear I would leave anyone out I'll just thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart. We couldn't have chosen a better place for her to be. You're a special group of people. ❤ Chris Barker

My father is in Good Samaritan Society - Indianola and he would prefer to be at home he is very well taken care of and enjoys the staff. We feel he is in good hands during this current Covid crisis. The staff is always very helpful when we have questions and setting up window visits.
