Golden Manor Retirement Center is a wonderful facility. My Uncle has been there for a few years now & he has not 1 complaint. Every employee there is kind, friendly & knowledgeable. The establishment is always clean. So nice to see an establishment where the employees actually care about the residents who live there. They have scheduled activities & donate clothing, etc to those in need. When I retire, this is the place I’d choose to call home.

This has something for everyone smoking non-smoking, social or not, and my dad's room is always clean. I'm actually at peace knowing he is in a comfortable place. Easy to visit and to take him on outings. Staffs on point. Just a suggestion maybe hire on CNA's to assist with showers.

My mother died in this facility. She was found in the tub, and the staff doesn't know what, when or how.

For the most part people are friendly . There are many who speak only Spanish, others speak English, and others bilingual . Most people are medicated and a good number are smokers so the facility smells like tobacco . NOT extremely overwhelming but very noticeable for those with sensitive lungs . Most of the staff is very friendly some of the office staff is not so friendly. Some bullying has been observed and some like to barter or trade things for cigarettes . There is good air conditioning very important especially during the summer . And meals seem to be well-balanced .
