Please for the love of God never send your loved ones to this place. They do not give two craps about there patients. If I could give them negative stars I would. They are rude and leave there patients to sit in filth for hours.

DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY THERE!!! The building needs tremendous upgrades. The care my brother recieved was horrible. Many violations, almost to the point of him losing his life. Thank God they had enough sense to send him to the ER. They treated his behavior before they treated his illness. Have filed complaints with state board of health and Indiana ombudsman.

Do not send your family members to this place. They are undertrained, the food is gross, and when asked to put food in the fridge nursing staff has ignored requests. My grandmother had pizza on a Wednesday from papa johns I asked a staff member to put the tubaware container that I brought with me to put it in the fridge an hr after I left. I came back to visit friday and her pizza is still sitting on her tray table. Her 1st day her she fell out of bed. It is not somewhere I would recommend. If I could give zero ⭐ I would.

They provided care for my father in law during his final days. The staff was very caring and did their best to provide wonderful care. They were very good about communicating with family and were very considerate. The facility needs some updating, and the staff could use a few more hands. The nurses and CNAs work so hard, but it’s very difficult to manage properly when there’s not enough staff to go around. Overall, we were very happy.

My mother has been there since 4/19/13 and she loves Golden Living in Kokomo, IN. She considers it her home. Everyone there is very nice and caring. They are like a big family and my mother is a part of their family. My mother calls Golden Living "Home." My mother was diagnosed with vascular dementia and late onset alzheimer disease. The therapist PT, OT, ST are excellent - my mother could hardly walk, use her cell phone, etc. and she does all of that now - of course she needs a walker. After her series of PT sessions were over the PT people have my mother come in 3xs a week to use the machines to exercise to keep up her physical recovery. The whole ordeal with my mom was upsetting but we are so lucky to have been lead to Golden Living. We are not the only ones who think this way, we met a lady who is a resident there was sitting in the reception area with her daughter the first week we took my mom to Golden Living and told us that it was the best thing her daughter did was bring her to Golden Living because she liked it there. My sister and I feel that my mother's being in Golden Living has changed not only her life but our lives because the first time in 3 years we have peace of mind.
